"That's bit long, don't ya think?" Ranma asked hesitantly.
"It is? What do you suggest?"
"Um... How's about I just call ya 'Haruka', okay?"
"Hmm... Sounds great!"
He took a moment to be happy that he hadn't annoyed her, but then he realised that with her snuggling, she was unlikely to react negitively to such things. "Do ya always do this?"
"Huh?"
"Do ya always hug guys like this?"
That caused her face to go intense for a moment as she pondered his question. She instinctively knew that if another male came along, she wouldn't react this way at all. In fact, she couldn't see herself even being more than friendly with any other guy. But with him, she couldn't help but throw off her normal cool and want to cuddle. It seemed to be something that was hard wired into her, and she couldn't concieve of changing that fact. "Nope, only you."
"Lucky me..."
"Is something wrong with what I'm doing?"
"Only in the fact that it's kinda... odd ta be held like this. And I think my arms are fallin' asleep."
"Oh! Sorry!" she declared as she loosened her hold.
"It's okay," he told her as he rubbed the feeling back into his upper limbs. "I've taken worse than that."
"You have?"
"'Course. A martial artist does get hurt in trainin'."
"I can understand that."
"Yeah, but now I've gotta figure out a way outta here."
Haruka frowned thoughtfully at him. "We're leaving?"
"'We'? Ya wanna come with me?"
"Then we'll get out of here."
"How d'ya figure on that?"
She reached out and bent a piece of metal by holding it. "I may be dedicated for speed, but I am still strong."
"Uhhh... That's good..."
"But there is a breeze from that direction."
"Hey... You're right!"
"I'm glad that you're pleased," she replied with a smile as she looped one of her arms around one of his. "So, shall we go?"
Ranma looked at the happy expression on the girl's face and repressed a groan before:
