Magneto was coming to the conclusion that being able to sense and control metal defiantly had its disadvantages when one had ones mouth wired shut due to a compound fracture, there was just something about the way he could feel exactly where every piece of metal was placed to hold his jaw together that was rather unsettling. He had done it himself of course, it was not like any of the Brotherhood present had anywhere near enough medical knowledge to do it, but they had manage to put the brace on round his ribs and put a cast around his broken arm; he was just glad that they were fractures not breaks he doubted that he would have liked the results of them trying to reset his bones. He was also glad that it was Gambit assisted by Colossus that had done it, Pyro had not yet regained consciousness which was probably good for him as he had four dislocated limbs and a concussion from where his head had drilled its way through a cupboard door. Having once had the doubtable pleasure of seeing Sabertooth fix a large cut in his side with a staple-gun he was rather glad he had not been around when he was being fixed up, not that Magneto thought Sabertooth would try that on him it was just better to be safe that stapled.
This of course brought him to his current activity of finding out what exactly had happened through the process of wrapping Sabertooth in a medical bed and squeezing him if he didn't like the answer, due the rather obvious fact that it was his fault that he was now having to keep up his cool exterior and poses while in extreme pain and under the effects of medication. His bad mood could also be attributed to the fact he had to vibrate the metal in the room to communicate while he had his mouth wired shut.
All these facts meant that Sabertooth was wishing he had Wolverines healing abilities rather than just being very tough and resilient to pain; he had been in pain when he came to report on the hostages death by shark, which he felt couldn't have happened to a nicer human, being resilient to pain did not stop you feeling it when you were hit in the balls and booted down mountain twice in just over an hour. Of course he had not expected to find Magneto in the infirmary being helped to sit by Colossus while Gambit was sitting legs spread with an ice pack on his crotch as he checked on a rather mangled Pyro. Sabertooth was not stupid despite his rather animalistic nature and so quickly figure out that it must have been the hostage that did this and that it would be best to come back when Magneto was in a better mood. Now he just wished he had moved faster.
Magneto had realized the moment he saw Ranma loose that it was Sabertooths fault, which therefore meant that it was his fault he was currently in pain and probably unable to do too much for the next few weeks while he recovered enough to be able to speak again. With a certain satisfaction he applied more pressure to his lackeys body that he was at least glad to see looked more than slightly battered before he had begun questioning, but now he felt he had the whole story and it did not sound good.
'So,' rang his voice, or rather a mimicry of his voice created by carefully controlling the vibration frequency of the metal in the room, 'He asked you where the nearest town was and then somehow blew a hole in the wall twelve feet across which caused you to unlock the cell door to, as you thought, give chase but it was merely a trick and he knocked you out the hole. The next time you saw him was when you had climbed your way back up, which was after he had attacked us, where he again kicked you down the mountain but this time he followed you down jumping into the water where he was eaten by the sharks that inhabit it. A fact you only observed when you had climbed back up again. Am I missing anything?'
Sabertooth growled in the negative finding it hard to do anything else as Magneto had continued to squeeze him as he had 'talked'. It was possible he had the enhanced strength to break free, the metal not being that thick, but he would be thick to think that would be a good idea at the moment.
Magneto, himself, was not finding a silver lining to this cloud the only thing he could do was to keep this from Mystique for as long as possible, preferable till she had done all that she could for him, but he was beginning to think that this had already been far too much of an inconvenience already and it was time to shift his plans to another angle, but with the annoyance dead he might be able to fool her long enough to finish this current projetc. He would have to play it by ear with this one it could go wrong at any time at least he still had some time before the White Witch arrived it would not look good to be caught in this situation he would probably owe the Hellfire Club another favour to keep this whole mess from leaking out to any interested parties.
This only goes to prove that blows to the head are not good for the memory or he would have remembered he had sent Hopscotch to bring her here quickly.
