This was not so incredible. Unconscious bathers occasionally turned up on the beach all the time.
She was naked.
This was somewhat more noteworthy, but more as an anecdote than anything else.
She woke up and vanished before authorities could get to her.
Again, not too surprising.
What was surprising was that she was about seven feet tall, with green skin, pointy ears and a long, reptillian tail and a row of spikes and frills going up her back.
Of course, this wouldn't have been surprising if it had been known what she was.
Scratch that, it still would have been surprising, and more than a little disturbing.
