Akane by the end of the manga was a psychic girl able to tell that Jusendo was a bad idea.
Unfortunately this wasn't the manga and was only a couple of days after the Hot Spring Race.
Unfortunately he passed by Rod Serling and was so busy arguing with Akane that he didn't listen. Neither did Akane for that matter.
Which was a darn pity as things would have made a lot more sense later if they'd listened.
Getting to school hadn't had anything happen. The only thing strange had occurred when Miyo (the tarot card girl) had laid out a bunch of her cards, taken one look and then asked to be excused from class for the rest of the day because she had this desperate need to get out of town really fast.
She wasn't but was finally able to finagle being off school grounds during PE.
Yuka and Sayuri, having noted this, were wearing their track shoes.
Akane wondered what was going on as everyone started playing softball (girls versus guys) when the (stuff) hit the fan at last.
