The small study was quiet as an old man went over several papers lying around on his desk. He looked up when the door to his study opened. "Grampa!! When are you coming to play?"
He smiled fondly at his granddaughter. "I'll be there in a short while, Konoka." The dark haired girl smiled once before leaving again. For a few moments, the room remained silent until the Dean of Mahora Academy felt a small breeze and a familiar presence.
"Headmaster Konoe...it's been a while."
"Indeed it has, Magus. Tell me...how is your Magic Academy holding up?"
The other old man leaned on his staff for support. "We're doing well. We've turned out a good number of students who have went on to become fine Magister Magis."
Headmaster Konoe smiled. "That's good to hear. So what brings you here?"
"Can't I stop by to say hello to an old friend once in a while?" asked Magus calmly.
"Usually, there's another motive to your visits..."
Magus gave a smirk. "You know me too well. I've just come to inform you of a new student entering our Academy. The amount of potential in our new pupil is astronomical and...my Astral Senses tell me that his path will intersect with the student body at your Academy some day."
"I see. So who is this lad?"
"His name is..."
