"Doctor?!" Nakahito yelled out. Ranma heard the shot and the cry and managed to roll out from underneath the dueling steel angel sisters.
Ranma got up bruised and scratched in numerous places, but looking ready for a fight. "What happened?!" Ranma called out.
"Doctor Ayanokoji was shot!" Dr. Amagi cried out. But before she could take any action, a giant robot appeared. It snatched up Dr. Ayanokoji in one hand and in the other stood a blonde man in a labcoat.
"Brando?!" Amagi cried out in shock, upon seeing the British scientist standing in the robots hand with a large gun.
"Dr, Amagi, I'm quite impressed in the power these steel angels have. So I'm taking Dr. Ayanokoji. You have been most helpful in gaining me this knowledge."
Upon saying this the giant robot began to lift up off the ground. Taking Dr. Brando and the unconcious Dr. Ayanokoji into the air.
"Impossible, how can something that heavy fly!" Amagi shouted.
Ranma quickly took action, seeing that the steel angels would not stop quarelling. Ranma coiled his legs and leaped. He closed in fast upon the rising robot. From where he was, Ranma could see Dr. Brando's shocked expression. Then to his horror he saw the scientist lift the gun and aimed it at him.
It was too late to try stop, the gun went off. With the sheer skill in mid-air combat that only a highly skilled person in the Anything-goes School of martial arts could possibly pull off. Ranma managed to slightly change his course. The steel slug that was supposed to end his life right between the eyes, tagged him in the shoulder and passed right through.
The impact of the bullet jerked Ranma from his adjusted course and sent him crashing into the ground. Kamihito and the others quickly rushed to his side, while Kurumi and Saki watched in shock.
"Ranma are you all right?" Kamihito asked. Nakahito ripped a piece of his outfit to wrap Ranma's bleeding shoulder.
"Ow!! Damn that hurts! I've been punched, kicked, malleted, ki blasted, blown up, smashed into boulders. But none of that ever hurt this bad." Ranma hissed between clencheh teeth. While the others couldn't help but sweatdrop.
Kamihito then turned toward Kurumi and Saki. The anger was clearly shown on his face. "Look at this, see what has happened? If you two hadn't been fighting you could have helped Ranma, and saved Dr. Ayanokoji. But you two were two busy squabbling on who gets Ranma."
Kurumi teared up, and with a side glance she saw that Saki was also crying. Kurumi turned to Saki. "I'm sorry Saki, if we weren't fighting master wouldn't be hurt and the Doctor wouldn't be kidnapped."
Saki sniffled. "I'm also sorry Kurumi, we shouldn't be fighting we're sisters." Saki held out her hand. "Sisters?" She asked.
Kurumi hugged her instead. "Sisters." Kurumi confirmed.
Ranma managed to see all this despite the shooting pain in his arm. "Well at least they aren't fighting anymore."
