He was dressed in an all black version of his usual Chinese shirt and kung fu pants. He bent down and placed roses on the grave, before he kissed the tombstone. "Goodbye, my tomboy." Ranma turned a looked at Mrs. Tendo's tombstone not far from Akane's. "I am sorry, I failed to protect her. It is my fault she died."
"Ranma, stop blaming yourself. You are not to blame for Akane death! " Nabiki did not look good at the moment, her eyes where red and swollen from the many tears she had shed since her baby sister had died. "It is the fault of Shampoo, Kodachi, and Ukyou, and not yours! You have got to stop blaming yourself and grieve before it kills you!"
"How can it not be my fault, she died because I had picked her. Did you know that we had planed to elope? Well they did, all because I felt that "Ucchan" had a right to know. Stupid me, I should have known something was up when Ukyou came to me to talk about restoring her honour with out marring her. But Nooo! I was too much of a baka to realise that it was her job to keep me busy while the other two bitches attacked Akane! I should have been there for her, I should have stopped them!"
"Ranma, it is not your fault, you couldn't have known. Let it go, we already lost Akane, and we don't want to lose you as well." Nabiki's voice was tense with concern. However when Ranma turned to face her, she gasped at the look in his eyes. Gone was his joyful spark; all that she could see in them, were grief, pain, and rage.
"It is too late for that, I am leaving Nerima Nabiki. I am already packed, so please tell Kasumi and your father thank you for me, and that I am sorry."
"Why, Ranma?"
"I can't say here, every thing reminds me of her. Plus I've been having nightmares, worse then the ones where I see Akane die. These I am in the Neko-ken, hunting down the three of them. The Neko-me catches up with Ukyou first, she begs me for forgiveness but the Neko doesn't understand the works, and tares out her throat. Then it catches up with Kodachi and slashes her face but for gutting her. Finally Neko catches up to Shampoo, at she doesn't die as fast as the others. First the Neko rips her hamstrings out, crippling her. Then it starts to cut her slowly over and over, never deep enough to kill, but enough to hurt. It continues to do this until she bleeds to death. And do you want to know what is truly scary about that dream! It is the fact that while I am dreaming it, I am happy that the Neko-ken is doing that to them! So you see Nabiki, I have to leave before I do something I will regret. Pops maybe many things, but the one moral lesson that he taught me that I am sure he follows is that a Martial Artist should never kill for revenge, only to protect others and only if there is no other choice."
Nabiki closed her eyes as her processed the information Ranma had give her. "Ranma, I must say that I don't want you to go, I've grown attached to you as had Kasumi. But I understand why so I'll just ask where will you go?"
