"Asuza, are you well?" asked Funaho.

That question snapped Azusa, Emperor of Jurai, out of his memories."What?"

"I've asked you two times if you are well, dear," replied the First Empress of Jurai and wife.

"Maybe you drank too much at the reception husband." quipped Misaki, his other wife and Second Empress of Jurai.

"Yes, perhaps that is it. I must give thanks to Tsunami that the diplomatic reception was brief."

Funaho wasn't satisfed with that answer. In the weeks that followed their return from Earth, Azusa had fallen into a meditative silence.

He acted normally when he was in imperial matters or diplomatic meetings, but in private he acted with a melancholic attitude.

First she attributed that to the refusal of Ayeka and Sasami to return to Jurai with him, but after a month, seeing that his mood hadn't shown any signs of recuperation, alarms started going off in her head.

'What could be the source of his sadness? I've never seen him before in that state....except after his return from that vacation that he took alone, due to that heated discussion what we had a few days before. When he returned after that, he was truly happy upon seeing us again but with a deep sadness in his heart..... During that time was when he begun with his obsession for honor, if I recall correctly. What haven't you said to us Azusa?' Thought a worried Funaho.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That night, Azusa was meditating near Tsunami, the mother of all the Jurai space trees, about Nodoka and if he should tell the truth to his wives.

'Funaho would get angry, but she should understand, who worries me the most is Misaki, her response is almost impossible of predict, and regardless of her reaction it will have a direct influence in Sasami and Ayeka.....' He sighed.

'I'll never understand women.' thought the emperor who then muttered, "How will I explain this to them?"

"Explain what dear?"

In that instant Azusa felt the mother of all the chills run up his spine, due to the fact that that voice could only belong to one woman and that was her wife Funaho. "What are you talking about, dear?" answered azusa.

"I said what do you have to explain to us, dear." She repeated.

'Tsunami have mercy on me please!' Was the panicked thought of Azusa. "N-nothing dear wife..." He answered her and tried to return to palace, however Funaho at that instant used something capable of causing nightmares even to the most brave Knights of Jurai. She narrowed her gaze and spoke.

"Azusa Masaki stop right there NOW!" She said in a tone of voice that would make a USMC Sergeant quiver in fear.

He then stopped and remained still, like a prisoner that would expect his imminent execution. "I don't know what is happening with you lately, but I want to know right now!" She said with the same tone but this time it was tinged with worry.

Azusa then looked to her eyes and understood that she needed and deserved to know the truth. 'She will understand. Maybe I'll get a beating after I tell her this, but she'll understand.' Was his thought before the start of his story about Nodoka and the events that happened almost twenty years ago.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Twelve hours later, the ship of the Royal Family was on route to Earth again, and the only thought of the entire crew of the ship was,

'Why does the Emperor have black and blue eyes?'.
