Some of them were scared, especially Ukyo, Shampoo and Kodachi who were scared of the possible consequences of their acts in the failed wedding. Ukyo feared more than all the others, not only a possible annulation of the marriage contract, but she feared to lose her best friend.
'Why, for why I’d to agreed with shampoo's plan.....yeah, I feared to lose him, what i did when i throwed those bombs in the wedding. He never had looked to me before with such anger...whatever...I did this and I must charge with the responsibility....

"For why is arriving so many people Soun" said HideputaGenma Saotome.
"I don’t know old friend" was the reply of Soun Tendo, who then noted what Nabiki was greeting all the visits.
"Nabiki for why is coming all those people to our home?" said him, only to meet with the automatic answer of her.
"1000 Yen daddy."
"B-but..." tried to say him but Nabiki's gaze stopped any question. With a resigned suspire, Soun extracted 1000 Yen from his wallet and put the money in the hands of his daughter.
"Ok daddy, Auntie Nodoka called me in the morning and asked me to congregate all the fiancées and rivals of Ranma for a meeting this afternoon, for why she is going to make an announcement."
"And do you know what exactly she is going to announce?" questioned him.
"Nope, she didn't reveal me that, but for the tone she was using I think is going to be something important." answered Nabiki.
"Maybe she will announce what Ranma and Akane must marry!" said Genma who heard what Nabiki said.
“Of course. Now old friend, its time to celebrate!” Soun said enthusiastically.
Nabiki sighed as she doesn’t wanted to see her father and his best friend get drunk again.

Nodoka observed the people reunited in the backyard of the Tendo residence.'Well, its time to began the last act of this comedy what is the life of my son ' and, with this last thought she walked into the principal room to talk to the people what was reunited in the outside of the room.
"Thanks to all for coming here to hear what i have to say. As first thing... from this same moment, Ranma is no more a Saotome..."
"WHAT!" "N-Nodoka?" "Finally the vile sorcerer has got...WHAM! SLAM! THONK!" were the reactions and the sounds of a mallet, a spatula and a bonbori meeting the head of a delusional kendoist.
"M-Mom?" was the stuttering reply of Ranma who tried to ask but was stopped for the smile etched in his mother's face who immediately said "for what he has been transferred from the Saotome Registry to my family's registry......... The Aoyama Clan"
A gasp was heard then and all looked to Kodachi who said "T-The Aoyama Clan...they are way more older than the Kunos, and the females of that clan are renown masters of a Kenjutsu style called God's Cry School........" declared her.” That signifies what he more than worthy of be my husband, ohohoho…WHAM! THONK! KLANG!
All the stunned looks were on Kasumi who was with a frying pan in her hand and replied.
“Sorry, I can’t tolerate that laugh.” what drew snickers and nods from the other people.
Nodoka then continued with his declaration.
"And that result in what Ranma is now free of any contract made for Genma Saotome, marriage pacts included."
"What is this stupidity Nodoka? He's my child and...."Genma begun to said but stopped when he saw what she was chuckling to his tirade, then she made a reply to his words.
"Genma you're sustaining that lie yet? You know well what the tests demonstrated what you're sterile and what Ranma isn't your son!" concluded her with a withering gaze towards the fat martial artist.
Nabiki thought'Well it's true, Ranma isn't son of Genma' and made another mental note to pay the bets placed for the Furinkan students about what Ranma's true dad wasn't Genma.
Genma's face now was ashen white, but he replied with “Then... you're abandoning the Saotome Clan Nodoka?
"Yes I'm divorcing of you" replied her.
"Then give me back the Saotome blade." He answered with a monotone voice.
She throwed to him the silk bundle what contained the Saotome ceremonial blade without ceremony.
“And don’t even think in try to force Ranma to obey you. I have put a legal warranty what, unless you pay all the debts what YOU acquired using Ranma as a bargain chip, you will not have right to even see him, understood Genma?” ended her with a dominating voice.
“Yes I understood now…. What I must give you a beating with interests!!” snarled him and unsheathed the blade.
Ranma had begun to move and stop Genma, but Cologne stopped him with her and made him look to her mother’s hands.
‘what the hell is going to do mom with only a Kendo stick? ’ was his panicked thought.
Genma was near her when she showed the Kendo stick in one of her hands.
The look in his eyes changed from anger to pure fear and doom.
Nodoka then announced her attack.
ZANMAKEN NI NO TACHI!!!
From her blade, a shockwave slammed into Genma who screamed in agony and after that, had dropped unconscious there.
Ranma looked to all this with an astonished face, like the rest of the people who was in the site. Only Happosai and Cologne showed signals of recognition and understanding for Nodoka’s attack.
“Wow, mom …what was that exactly?” asked him with a rare hint of awe in his voice.
“Thanks son. That was one of the God’s Cry School special attacks, and the reason for why he feared me. That was the Zanmaken Ni No Tachi, a technique what causes damage depending of how good is a person. If you’re good the attack will not cause you any damage, but if you’re have a soul like Genma…..the attack will make you feel like you’re in the hell itself” ended saying her.
“And now what we’re going to do Mom?” asked Ranma.
“Now what you aren’t a Saotome anymore the Marriage pacts of Ukyo and Akane are void now.”
Then she looked into his eyes and spoke “Ranma answer me with honesty. What do you feel for them?”
“I feel something for them, but only to a level of sisters, with Akane I’ve already talked and she feels the same for me. With Ukyo I haven’t talked yet and I will do it now.” was his answer.
“And what of the Chinese girl, Shampoo?” Questioned Nodoka
“I’d decided to not marry her a long time ago. With honesty I never could live like Shampoo wants me to live, like a second class citizen in the Amazon village. Besides Cologne dropped The Kiss of Marriage after I showed her the counterattack for the Hiryu Shoten Ha what i used in Herb’s battle. She only continued in Nerima due to the fact of she thinks what this site serve as a Training for her and Mousse.” Said him.
When Shampoo heard Ranma’s words, she turned her head to Cologne to see her deny this, but she moved her head affirmatively.
“No grandmother! I love Ranma!” cried her.
“You know well what he would never accept to live with us. His spirit is too wild to be tolerated for the other Elders in the village. Besides he was freed from our laws in the moment what he slew Saffron, you know that. “ Was her answer to Shampoo.
She looked then to Ranma with tears in her eyes and said.
“Bie Lao Airen” and then she jumped to the roofs racing towards the NekoHanten.
Cologne then made a signal to Mousse to follow her granddaughter, what he promptly obeyed but not before of say something. “Has been an honor to know you Ranma.” and with that he followed Shampoo.
Ranma then turned his sight to Ukyo, who to his surprise showed a face of resignation. He tried to say something but she raised her hand and spoke.
“Don’t try to excuse yourself Ranchan. Its my own fault for be blind to the truth. Well… at least I can continue with being your best buddy no?” she said with a cheering face what contrasted with the brimming tears in her eyes.
“Ukyo I’m sorry…”
“Don’t say it. I just need time to accept this fact; well I need to return to my work, goodbye Ranma”
With that she walked back to her restaurant. Only Ranma noted the tears what were starting to fall from her eyes while she returned to her house.
That depressed a bit his mood even if that represented what he was finally free of the problems what had plagued him for the last year.
“But Ranma must marry my girl.”
Ranma then changed his gaze to Soun Tendo, who was near of the unconscious Genma.
“I don’t care now Soun. Ranma is now in my family’s registry and he isn’t linked to Genma for blood.” Nodoka said “Akane loves Ranma, but only as a brother. For why do you think what she didn’t oppose to my acts?”
Soun looked to Akane, who nodded with the head and, then to Kasumi and Nabiki who were moving their heads in disapproval to his thoughts of make one of them to take the site of Akane as the fiancé of him. Finally with a resigned sigh he said.
“Ok, I know when dreams are only that, Dreams. Ranma please take your things from your room. I’m not kicking you out, but when Genma awakes of that attack is going to be angered”
Nodoka nodded to that.” When you have all your things collected we will go. Ok?”
“Yes mom.”
