"Excuse me, but ya don't look like a dragon," Ranma commented with obvious confusion tinging his voice, "No scales, no claws, no wings..."
"I am one, but my kind can take different forms, like the one I'm in now."
"But if you are a dragon, why didn't you just turn back to your natural form to fight the stavanzer?" Tamlyn asked.
Krioness shrugged lightly. "I took a potion to keep me from doing that so that I could travel through the area without causing people to have to duck. Besides, I weigh way too much in dragon form for a lifeboat to easily hold me, and I'd need a better perch to fly off of."
"Understandable," Jaim mused, "I have heard of this sort of thing. You must be a Wanderer, right?"
"Pretty much. I wanted to leave home and see the world, so I did. But I also want to help people, and this allows me to do that too."
"I can see why ya'd want ta do that..," Ranma said with a shrug, "Though it does get tirin' after a while."
"I'm sure that she knows that," Tamlyn commented. "Dragons tend to travel around until they find a spot of their own and decide to stay there."
"Oh... Sorta like picking their territory."
"In a way of speaking, though I'd think it more like chosing their home."
"I suppose that'd be a better way of puttin' it," the pigtailed boy agreed, "But I'm just glad that she's not like a dragon from some story that'll start attackin' people."
Saithe nodded. "That's true. There are dragons that'll do that, but I think that she's more approachable than them."
"I am," Krioness confirmed, "My kind like the other races, and we've had good relations for a long time."
'Elves, dragons, and... that, what else am I gonna see,' Ranma thought to himself.
"Now that we've all introduced ourselves, can we get on with things?" the fire elf asked.
"Hmm..," the dragon murmured, "I do suppose that we can always:
