Akane tried to give him a reassuring smile. "Well, there is......."
"Ran-chan!"
Ranma had but a split second to locate the direction of the voice before a red blur collided with him.
"Ooof."
The girls around the table blinked and as the dust settled, slowly craned their heads to find Ranma down on the floor with a redhaired girl hugging him fiercely, traces of lipstick could be see on his face.
"...Ranko." Akane deadpanned.
Kodachi smiled good naturedly, it was getting easier and easier (besides she'd have her turn soon enough...or just join in), as she asked out loud. "I thought Ranko-chan would be out all day shopping with mother?"
Nabiki blinked, taking her eyes away from Ranma trying to get back up with Ranko firmly attached to him, and regarded Kodachi as a thought suddenly occured to her. "If Ranko's here, then...?"
Nodoka suddenly appeared from behind Nabiki, smiling as she whispered. "Hello, Biki-chan." In a sugary sweet sing-song voice.
"EEEK!"
A sudden gust of wind tore through the room and the fiance's hair.
Nodoka glanced around, smiled warly at seeing Ranma holding Ranko so protectively, and asked the girls. "Where's Nabiki? I got some more baby books to show her." She said holding up the bag of books.
The assembled fiance's grinned uncomfortably and all pointed at Nabiki's sudden exit, better her then them after all. Fortunately Nodoka didn't pick up on their fear and went off after the middle tendo sister.
Meanwhile Ranma had managed to get back on his feet, shaking his head to ward off the bit of disorientation before looking down at what hit him. 'What' proved to be an almost exact duplicate of his cursed form, except this girl was wearing a egg-shell blue sundress and her bright red hair was intricately braided. Then she looked up. Brilliant blue eyes (his) met equally brilliant blue eyes shining with unshed tears (hers).
"I missed you so much. Did you miss me?"
Ranma's left eye twitched as he looked over the redhead currently wrapped around him, obviously she's been learning how to glomp from someone, and at the girls. A certain Amazon (who's name will be withheld until guilt is proven) sheepishly waved back.
"Yeah, I missed you too."
No sooner had he said that then Ranko stopped glomping him. "Yay!" Then she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. Ranma wrapped his arms around her slender frame automatically, then blushed as his mind registered where his hands were holding Ranko.
Akane cleared her throat. "Ranma, this is Ranko. Ranko-chan, could you let go of Ranma?" A small thumb sized piece of the table broke off as Akane tried not to glare at her co-fiance.
Said redhead shook her head fiercely, though after a bit she let go of his neck, slowly dropping a few inches to the ground, before possessively taking his arm and leading him to the table.
Ranma smiled uncertainly at the redhead as she beamed back at him. Then turning to Akane he said. "Anything else?"
Ranko blinked at Ranma and turned her attention to the other girls as a note of worry crept into her voice. "Whats wrong?"
"Well....." Akane started to say.
