Of course she remembered the odd triple. Haruka the very unenthusiastic pursuer of her 'airen' - Ryoga Hibiki. Michiru - who apparently had a relationship going with Haruka and was not at all fond of Ryoga Hibiki. Akane - who was always going off and attacking some boy from Nerima. Azusa - who was pursuing Akane and was known to pelt people with various cute weapons. All were formidable martial artists with preferred weapons.
Haruka had that big bad two-handed sword. Michiru preferred a chain weapon. Akane had her war mallet. Azusa used ribbons that acted more like whips.
Hotaru shrugged, making the rounds. She was staying with Makoto wasn't she? The Amazons were staying at the Hino Shrine (to the delight and frequent pain of Rei's grandfather).
"I don't believe this," said a familiar voice.
Hotaru glanced over to see Sailor Pluto staring at the Amazon Quartet. "Something wrong?"
"Other than those Senshi, even if they're minor?" asked Pluto.
"Well of course," said Hotaru. "Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Titan, Sailor Charon. The Amazon Quartet. So what's wrong?"
"You don't... AHHH!" Pluto had just noticed the changes in Hotaru.
She was still short and slender, but her build was more that of a dancer or athlete. It was still recognizably Hotaru, but a Hotaru who was more like Mistress Nine in terms of age. Just without that cruelty showing.
Hotaru smiled. She liked her new look. The new clothes she was less sure of. A black bodysuit with a burgandy vest, and the bodysuit emphasized her new build quite well. It wasn't as if she could wear her old clothes, after all.
She stepped past a number of giggling pixies, who were apparently involved in some sort of game involving some girl with a big spatula who had passed out on the grass, and looked around the various people and things with a decidedly more comfortable air than Pluto was affecting at the moment.
Pluto just stared at the transformed Hotaru, noted the points to her ears, and twitched slightly.
The other Pluto just had a cup of ambrosia and remarked on how well everything was going compared to the last party he'd attended with a cross-pantheon group.
Kodachi had been sneaking when she'd noticed the passed out Ukyo being attended by pixies, that gaijin girl getting turned into a wolf, the Tendo girl getting turned into a Chinese, and the preponderance of beings that could probably turn her into "the late Kodachi Kuno" with about as much effort as tying a shoe.
Kodachi in some ways suffered as great a reality-deficit as her brother. In other ways she was actually far less insane. When the Tendo household had been at a sincere budget crisis and she'd made a play for her Ranma-sama, her plan had been well considered and entirely sane. Had there been anyone observing this who had knowledge of brain chemical imbalances and that such people often swung from bizarre behavior to "islands of relative sanity", they might have been able to suggest a number of treatments that would have given the Black Rose a new lease on life.
On some level she KNEW that the beings around her had immense power and that annoying them would be a truly stupid act. On the other hand, who in Nerima was known for being practical and perfectly rational?
