Genma turned to run when something flashed at Ridiculous Speed and started beating the royal snot out of him.
Ranma was normally fast. Due to this being a future Ranma thrown into his own path, he knew the Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken even if his mind hadn't quite registered that yet. He was also a catgirl and this particular one was fast.
So Genma found his defenses overcome, his escape attempt laughable, and he was thrown into splash a handy source of water nearby.
The panda didn't fare any better.
How to make panda pancakes.
Take one (1) panda.
Repeatedly flatten and pound until panda stops moving.
Serve with butter and syrup. Feeds twelve.
The Guide wondered where Mister/Miss Customer had gotten butter and maple syrup. Why were both applied to the panda's leg. Why was the girl...
Chomp!
"AAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" (Well whatta ya know. Pandas can make a comment other than "growfle".)
Genma came down after leaping straight up into the air some twenty feet. Where was his son? Why did his leg hurt so much? Genma slowly looked down to find someone still biting into said leg. "AIIEEEEEEE!"
Looking over the boulder Ranma-nekomusume had sharpened her claws on, the Guide shook his head. He'd had to splash them both just to get the two apart. Then he could bandage the panda's wound.
Of course, Ranma had gotten splashed again and the kitty girl had proceeded to beat on Genma again. This time the Guide was ready and put a plate of rice out that Ranma preferred even in catgirl mode.
Genma, now sporting bandages over one leg and one arm, wondered at how hazardous the training journey had gotten all of a sudden.
