[Episode 103890] [Episode 103890]Ranma looked down at his armor and hands. He cackled softly at this newfound power. He knew exactly how this had happened: yet another one of Genma's botched training ideas.
Ten years ago, Genma had learned the technique of demon fusing. Apparently, demons could be bound to humans to give them great power. Genma researched for two days until he found the most powerful demon he could: Maledict.
Maledict was apparently a great demon warlock, and had nearly wiped out humans thousands of years ago. However, a group of monks succeeded in making a last-ditch effort to banish Maledict back to the demon realm.
Genma attempted to bind Maledict to Ranma while his son was asleep. However, seeing no power difference when Ranma awoke, Genma decided it must have failed and gave up demon fusion. It was quite far from the truth.
Maledict had in fact been bound to Ranma, and had spent the last decade slowly binding himself to Ranma's mind. However, a kind of Mind Wall built up in Ranma's mind along with his body had stopped Maledict from taking total control.
However, the considerable stress from the past year in Nerima had weakened this Mind Wall, and this incident was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. Maledict was like a symbiote, and had become one with Ranma. Ranma was Maledict, and Maledict was Ranma. However, to avoid confusion, we shall simply call him Ranma.
Ranma looked around him. The ground was littered with the bodies of the dead. Weak ki users, all of them. He could sense that Akane and Ryouga were still alive, but he'd deal with them later. He raised his hand into the air. Ki began to flow from the corpses around him and into Ranma, strengthening his power. He laughed darkly, rejoicing in his power. Akane, regained consciousness, and looked up at the monstrosity Ranma had become. She closed her eyes in horror and whispered "What have we done?"
