New Frontier - Zentraedi War: Reactions II [Episode 104581]

Exeodore turned around towards Breetai. He had a stunned and unbelieving look on his face as he looked at his Commander.

"Lord Breetai," he said," I have bad news from the ice moon of the ringed planet."

Breetais eye narrowed as he looked at his advisor.

"Bad news?"

Exeodore breathed in deep.

"Our ground assault group has been anihiliated before they reached the settlement and only one of the escort ships has survived the fight with the micronian ships in orbit."

Breetais eye narrowed some more and his artificial eye seemed to glow for a moment.

"How is that possible?"

In response Exeodore pressed a sensory field on one of the console, causing a holo-screen to light up, showing a light blue landscape.

"One of the officer pods had transmitted this footage, before it was destroyed."

The screen continued to show the light blue landscape, now with the few Buckminster Domes of the Titan Colony in the background and several Zentraedi in power armor in the front. Suddenly the screen lit up as several of the Zentraedi stepped onto the anti-tank mines and yellow streams of fire started to raise into the thick atmosphere of Titan, before making an arch, dropping four Mad Cat's onto a few battle pods, stomping them into the ground. More explosions lit up the screen as the artillery in the background started to lay covering fire to the EF Mecha. The last thing the screen showed was a heavy armored Micronian, slapping some small packet to the armor of the officer pod. After that the screen showed nothing but static.

Breetai remained silent for a long time. After a few minutes he crossed his arms over his chest and breathed in deep.

"I don't like to do this," he stated," But I need to get Khyron."

Exedore swallowed. As he turned back to his console he blinked as he saw one of the other sensory fields had lit up. He pressed the field and a short text appeared on the field next to the field. He blinked once after reading the text. He turned back to Breetai.

"The Travla IV, one of our Rineunadou Lojmeuean class Monitors, just left the fleet," he said.

Breetai blinked.

"What?"

"It appears to have changed it's course to the fourth planet of the system."

Breetai narrowed his eye again.

"Get me the commander of that ship."

General Pounder smiled as he read the report he just got from the captured Zentraedi ship. The Master Chief was one of his best men and he had known that Operation 'Marked Garden' would be a success. Now EarthForce had a complete enemy vessel and several POW's. It would just be a problem to find a place large enough to internate the giant Zentraedi.

He than blinked as he read one of the supplement on the report, made by Cytoma, the AI that controlled the Zentraedi Monitor. The file contained information about some kind of machine that was capable to reduce the size of a Zentraedi to that of a normal human and reverse.

He leaned back in his chair and thought for a minute. If that was true, EarthForce could reduce the cost for the Zentraedi POW-camps, greatly. Just reduce the size and put them into a normal prison. He smiled at that. Than another idea formed in his mind. If the effect worked in reverse, maybe they would be able to increase the size of a human and insert him into one of the Zentraedi ship and get some real information directly from the source.

He reached out to the computer on his desk.

"I need a connection to General Donniger on Babylon 5."

Deep within the bowls of Breetais flag ship, three Zentraedi, Rico, Bron and Konda, looked at the holo-screen in front of them. It showed something they knew had to be some kind of historical transmission, some kind of hero worship. And truth be told, in the last week since they discovered the transmission and watched it every day at the same time, they also started to worship the heroes of the transmission.

"Never give up, never surrender," they repeated after Commander Peter Quincy Taggart, the commander of the NSEA Protector, the flag ship of the micronians, and cheered as he somehow was able to headbutt some strange looking alien, totally ignoring the zipper on the back of the alien.

They never wondered why the Zentraedi never meet one of the displayed alien races, but than again, the galaxy was big and there were large areas neither the Zentraedi nor the Robotech Masters had entered.

They continued to cheer as Taggart continued to beat the shit out of the alien that outmassed him nearly three times, before commercials interrupted the transmission. The three Zentraedi continued to stare at the screen, waiting for the historical transmission to continue, all the while wondering why that female was screaming like that, washing her hair.
