Ranma sighed as he looked up at the sky. "I've got to deal with Akane and Ukyo because Dad said so, I've got to deal with Shampoo because she says so, Nabiki, Kodachi. . ." he gave a wordless snarl of annoyance. "I wish I was the one in charge of my life."

A moment later he raised his arms, looking at his bracers. Out of the corner of his eyes it had looked like there was a sudden glint in the eye of the horse, but looking now the bracers looked exactly like they had when he got them.

With a loud yawn Ranma sat up, stretching his arms upward. He glanced sideways toward his father's futon, and blinked at the sight of a piece of paper resting on the sheets. He picked it up.

Ranma:
Your mother and I have decided to go off on a second honeymoon.
We don't know how long we'll be gone, though we've a lot to catch up on so expect a few months.
We hope you'll wait till we come back before marrying Akane, but if you two can't wait, we'll understand.
Don't slack off on your training! And don't cheat on your Fiancee!

Ranma lowered the letter. "OK. . ." he murmured uncertainly.

"Say Nabiki!" Ranma called.

The middle Tendo daughter turned toward him, raising an eyebrow. "Yes, Ranma?"

"Well, I was just wondering, Dad apparently ran off with mom somewhere. . ."

"He what?!" Nabiki asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, called it a second honeymoon. Um I've heard the word, but. . . do you know what a Honeymoon is?"

Nabiki stared at him a moment. "Yes. I do."

Ranma raised one hand to scratch his head. "Well, could you tell me?"

Nabiki thought a moment, then grinned. "No, that's. . ." suddenly her eyes bulged, she took a half step forward, then with a furious expression on her face she turned, and looked at the empty hallway behind her. "Where did, Ranma did you see who. . ."

"Um, I didn't see anyone, did something happen?"

"Someone just sp. . ." She trailed off. "Never mind." One hand slid around her hip to her butt briefly, but was then jerked back to the side. "See you later." She said, turning and walking down the hall.

"Um, what about. . ." Ranma started.

"Ask your fiancee!" Nabiki responded. 'Allright,' she thought to herself, 'Ranma might be good enough, but he wouldn't even if he could. And he's definitely good enough to spot anyone else unless they're some sort of uber ninja. So there's either a super-ninja with a warped sense of humor, or some ghost has dropped by, and it gets it's jollies spanking girls.' This time her hand did slip by to briefly rub her butt where she had felt the blow.

Ranma sat with the Tendo's at the table. He paused a few times to glance at the empty space where his father normally sat, but otherwise devoured his food as fast as usual. "Seconds?"

"C-Certainly Ranma." Kasumi responded. Everyone glanced at her, but seeing her moving with her usual speed and precision they dismissed any worry.

'Oh my!' Kasumi thought as she dished Ranma's next helping. 'I wonder what brought that on?' She thought, remembering the odd surge of sexual excitement the moment she moved to dish Ranma's food. 'It felt very nice though. . .'
