One was a more likely candidate than the other, and she looked for that person very carefully. It wasn't hard to find her though, but she had expected it. The difficult part would be in getting through and getting the girl in question to understand the situation.
Taking a deep breath, the Senshi of Time headed through the Gate and went to talk to one of those she hoped would help her.
Haruka Ten'ou tensed immediately as she felt the woman come into her area. The garage had been silent until then, and not even her work on her bike was making much noise. That meant that it had been easy to hear her, but she had sensed something was up before that.
Realising that her 'visitor' was waiting next to her, she looked up at her, frowning as she did so. "Who the hell are you?"
"Sailor Pluto, the Guardian of Time," came the answer from the tanned woman in the familiar looking outfit, "And I have come to speak with you, Haruka Ten'ou, on a matter of grave importance. Or should I say Sailor Uranus."
"How do you know about that?!"
"Simple. I know all about you. I am the Senshi of Time after all, and that allows me to go to different points in history, if need be."
"Right..," the blonde drawled. "And if you can be in any time period, why are you here?"
"Because I need your help."
"My help. Why?"
"To stop this all from happening. This world should not be. The Doom Tree should have been defeated long before it got that far, and the city should be basically as it was. Unfortunately, there was a shift in the timeline, and now things have gone very awry," Pluto told her, "But there is a way to fix it, if you'll help me."
"Let me get this straight. There is a way to undo all this mess that's happened?"
"There is. But we need to do one thing to make it that way."
"What is that?"
"Get rid of the person who is at the center of all this. Once he is gone, things will return to how they should have been."
The blonde raised a brow. "And who would that be?"
"Ranma Saotome."
"Hmmm... you know something? You almost had me going there for a moment."
"What are you..?" the Time Senshi began, just before a wrench flew by her shoulder. Dodging it was a simple matter, but once she did, she found the girl she'd hoped to get on her side standing in front of her in a ready stance.
"You won't be getting any help from me. He might ride me hard, but I'm not about to kill my sensei just because you say so."
"It has to be done..."
"Yeah right!" Haruka growled, and began kicking at the strange woman. Several were blocked by the staff, but one managed to get her in the gut, and sent her stumbling back. "I'm not going to betray him just like that."
Upon seeing the hardness in her fellow Senshi's eyes, Pluto realised that nothing could be gained from staying, so she pulled back and vanished.
Back at the gates, Pluto cursed her luck and did so again as she checked the history of Uranus.
Apparently, Ranma and she had come into contact during the fighting, and he had helped her then. Haruka had taken exception to that until she realised that he was doing it for everyone. Plus he was putting himself into harm's way, and was doing what he had to help everyone else. That sort of dedication she could appreciate, and his fighting skill was definately something to appreciate.
Which was something she had to be reminding herself as her insistance in fighting had led him to start training her. Though there was some bumps when they first became sensei and pupil, they had managed to get along quite well. Especially since he didn't seem to treat her like some fragile flower. He'd had some problem with his attitude earlier, but he didn't care about her gender. It wasn't about teaching a girl with him, and it was comfortable since she got to deal with a guy who wasn't about make fun of her because she was really a girl...
The insults tended to be more about how she fought, and he tended to make things as hard as he could.
Though he seemed to have learned to not copy the mistakes his father had made.
With two chances shot immediately down, Pluto turned her attention to the third individual in question, and saw that Michiru was not going to be much help. Instead of immediately going in as soon as she found her, she watched the Water Senshi, and realised that the girl was as close to a 'Ranma fan' as she could be. The boy had gone out of his way to save her, and now the girl was definately appreciative of what he'd done. In fact, she'd already expressed her wish to paint a picture of him.
There was nothing romantic about it, but the girl saw him in a definately good light.
That was not the sort of thing she wanted when asking someone to do what she needed, so she sighed in frustration as she turned her attention to trying to figure out what she could do while:
