Ever since he'd been a little kid, he'd been travelling with his father on a quest to become the best martial artist around. He'd known that there were some folks who had been different than others, but his father had raised him to concentrate on the Art, and make everything else secondary. Because of that, they'd stuck to the low class and rural places, never seeing the advances of what was happening around them.
But when he got to Tokyo, he found that a lot of people had slaves, even people his age. They were used for everything from menial tasks to things that were accompanied with winks when suggested. It wasn't something he didn't understand, but it seemed that it had gotten normal. As far as he understood, they weren't even real people, as no one could remember anyone going from normal to slave, but there were rumors which for all anyone knew could just be made up. Still, even the slaves themselves, mainly pretty girls, never seemed to consider anything wrong with their place.
And so he had decided to get one to see what it was all about. It had taken some time to get the money together, but when he really wanted to do something he did it. When he had the cash, he had gone out and went to a store where he'd gone over video and photos of various girls in all sorts of outfits, from dresses, to maid's uniforms, to lingere and on, managing to keep a straight face when seeing them nude. Then he'd made his choices, which bit into his money reserve quite a bit.
But the redhead had seemed to be someone he just couldn't leave behind, even if he didn't know the reason. It was simply something that he had to do, and since he'd been barely able to get enough cash not to have to worry, he'd gotten her.
The brunette, Unit 14, however, was his personal one, and the one he pondered the most. She was going to be around a lot, and all he knew of her was that she was a slavegirl. With her pretty much a basic unit at the moment, he knew that he could personalise her as he liked. However, he wasn't sure how he'd do that. Some people he'd seen went as far as giving their slaves names, while others treated them like appliances.
Shrugging to himself, he wondered what he'd do, and sighed as he though of:
