Nabiki stroked her chin. "I think we'll give escaping one more try, then go from there."
"I know how ya feel. Some of this stuff looks pretty cool, but a lot of it is kinda freaky. Anyway let's go."
Another brisk walk yielded another five new stores. "All right. I give! There are an infinite number of stars here, and the only way out is to buy something." Nabiki sighed in exasperation. "What do we have now?"
"Zero to Hero for all your superhero needs." Ranma read the nearest sign. "Go high tech, magic user, or unlock your secret alien heritage. Seems to be based on a mix of eastern and western superheroes."
"Not my style, but those green rings on display are kinda nice." Nabiki said. "Let's see. Tolitir's Tattoos, Body Art and piercings. You'll forgive me if I'm a little wary of getting anything added to my body from a place like this."
"Oh, I dunno." Ranma said playfully. "You'd look good with Ranma's girl painted on your back."
Nabiki blinked. Was Ranma... flirting? Nope. No way. Never happen. Just return fire. "I would, if I thought you were man enough to handle me."
"Come on... I'll get one for you..."
"I'll think about it." Nabiki said moving onto the next store. "Mouto's Game Shop, specializing in a wide variety of collectible trading card games, including Duel Monsters, Magic: The Gathering and others. That doesn't sound too bad."
"We'll see." Ranma said peering into another window. "Demios & Corari's Gag and Prank Outlet, guaranteed to increase chaos by 200% or your money back. That's kinda disturbing.
"I don't like the look of this place." Nabiki said standing before the final store, a dark foreboding storefront that seemed to suck the joy and life from the area. "Terrors, a home of nightmares." The sign read simply.
