Nodoka got off a bus near Furinkan. She’d seen the Furinkan route bus at a stop while on her way home and boarded it on impulse. She hadn’t seen her husband and son since the repairs to the Saotome home were completed. When she moved back, Genma and Ranma had remained at the Tendo house.
Nodoka walked from the stop with a spring in her step, despite the constrictions of her traditional kimono. She always felt so cheerful and energetic after a successful mission! No doubt it was the sense of satisfaction at serving her Emperor and country to the best of her small abilities. Come to think of it, all her previous visits to the Tendo house when she had been searching for Genma and Ranma had also followed missions.
Passing through the Tendo’s gate her good mood was darkened by the sign taped to the door, “Out for the day, please come again tomorrow”. But she brightened quickly. “I’ll just ask around the places my son frequents. Even if he isn’t there, someone will probably be able to direct me to him or his father.”
