[Episode 107644] [Episode 107644]Herb had not been altogether truthful when he’d told Ranma he’d come for a rematch. Oh, he had intended to have that. It was the manly thing to do when the two best fighters in the world got together. But it had not been the real reason.
The truth was, Herb was horny, or as he would have put it “Desirous of a woman worthy of my seed.”
Such women were rare in the mountains of home. Especially, as they were never seen in public. Men and Women lived segregated lives among the Musk, with the exception of husbands and wives, but even then the wives lived in their husband’s private rooms, and were not seen by other males.
Fathers arranged marriages between their daughters, and the manly sons of other men. Each hoping the merging of their families would improve both bloodlines.
Many fathers were interested in engaging their daughters to Herb. So, he had no shortage of potential mates. All that had been needed was for him to become an adult, check out the available merchandise, and pick the winner.
It was for this reason that Herb had first visited Jusenkyo to create a woman in order that he might practice being manly, so as to not make an asshole of himself when he started bride hunting. Even though that had failed, badly, he had thought his time in the outside world would have made him sophisticated and less likely to appear foolish. As it had turned out, that had been the least of his worries.
Truth was, Lime and Mint were pretty intelligent by Musk standard while Herb was a genius. His dragon ancestor had been smart, as well as powerful. Which was more than you could say of the totem animals of the other Musk families. Herb had visited, under supervision, many daughters. Many of whom were beautiful in an exotic way. But he had found it impossible to warm up to them.
It was hard to get romantic with a woman who kept staring at your crotch in fascination, to the exclusion of all else. They made Lime and Mint’s fascination with titties look like chronic boredom..
So, still a virgin six months after becoming a full adult, Herb had decided to visit the one person in the world he respected. Ranma, the one person to ever beat him in battle.
Ranma was a big city boy. Surely a sophisticated man like him would be able to introduce Herb to some worthy women. Or so Herb had calculated.
What he had never imagined in his wildest dreams was that Ranma would be that woman. When he had seen the barrier around the Tendo home, he had recognized it from the old tales, and had charged right in, intent on capturing the lost treasure.
The loss of Zeus’s ball had marked the decline of the Musk. Without it to ‘tweak’ the animals they turned into brides, the blood lines had thinned. The mortality rate among new husbands had not done much for the population either.
It was one thing to talk about turning a tiger into a woman and mating with her. It was another thing to do so and live to tell the tale. Zeus’s ball had made that possible. It had made the females compliant and unable to resist, and had boosted the males ability to function as a lover. It had also, and this was important, created a bond between the male who first bedded a transformed. animal, making her from that time on his property to do with as he would. Without Zeus’s ball, they had been forced to give up transforming animals. And had found that outside women were not nearly as compliant.
For a while they had raided the Amazon’s for brides, but the mortality rate from that idea had been almost as bad as with the animals. So, seeing the barrier, Herb’s first thought was that here was the saving of his people.
When Herb had rushed into the segregated region, and found Ranma, bound and available, Zeus’s ball had made sure he took advantage of the fact. His virginity and inexperience had not mattered. The artifact had made sure he knew just what to do.
When his Musk heritage had allowed him to throw off the effects after two encounters with Ranma, he’d been shocked, but also pleased. Ranma was the perfect wife. Strong, powerful, a fit match for him. And because they had mated under the influence of Zeus’s ball, she was now bound to him, and he to her. At least she would be as soon as it finished working its magic on her
. It was not love, the ancient Musk had no time for such nonsense. They wished only that their wives be subservient and compliant to their demands and urges. The ball ensured that, making the new brides the perfect wives. If you were from Stepford.
Herb on the other hand, was far more romantic, though he would not have expressed it in those terms. He wanted a soul mate he could respect, and who would not lick her crotch in company.
Besides, he had a responsibility to Ranma. The poor creature was now bound to him and she would pine away if he did not make frequent and vigorous use of her.
Speaking of which.. .
Herb’s eyes turned lustful as he let his gaze roam over Ranma’s bound and succulent form. The last two time he had been under the influence of the artifact. He was eager to try it when he was in his right mind. He turned Ranma, who’s mind was still reeling, around and began to undo her bonds.
Herb, however, was jumping to conclusions. The effect Zeus’s ball had on the animal brides of the old Musk was well documented. What was not so well recorded was the effect it had on normal human women. That was because the Musk had never used it for that purpose. The animals, turned to women, were a blank slate, ready to be written on. Ranma’s slate was already full, indeed, more than ful. More than one person roamed around inside Ranma’s head, or had been there at one time. There was no precedent for what the results would be. So, when Ranma’s hand were freed, she . . .
