The New Demon: Reactions in Nerima. [Episode 108035]

by Drakuzz

Ukyo stared at the TV pale-faced. There was little else she could do at the moment as she stared at scenes that seemed to come straight from a DBZ episode. In the scenes Ranma, SAOTOME RANMA, was seen fighting against a blonde woman. The pigtailed martial artist's fighting style was easily recognizable, yet at the same time he seemed like another person. Maybe it had something to do with the fact he was flying and throwing around black fire, maybe it was because he totally ignored the many injured and dead that were left on his wake. Not that he killed them himself, his moves were too precise to cause innocent bystanders any harm, but the woman didn't seem to have such qualms.

The okonomiyaki chef could hardly believe the man fighting was Ranma, yet there was no denying it when their conversation while fighting the Senshi was heard. The woman, Mara, called him Ranma.

Ukyo continued to sit there in shock, never having expected for Ranma to come back from the land of the death.

"THAT BASTARD!" Akane raged as she stared at the morning news. She'd been hit pretty hard when she learned of Nabiki's death. Even worse when Tofu's corpse was found. She was convinced of her sister's innocence yet there was nothing to be done, while Tofu had done nothing but support the Tendo and Saotome families after the loss. When she learned of her sister's death in prison she suspected one of Ranma's old enemies was back, but now that she saw the pigtailed man was none other than her former fiancé she allowed her anger free reign, not that she could avoid it in the first place.

Soun and Genma stared at the screen in utter disbelief. They had both seen Ranma's body, there was no doubt about his death, but yet there he was. And he was fighting on a level that put Saffron to shame!

Genma gulped nervously, for once thinking things through before taking action. If his son killed Nabiki then he was no longer holding back. Tofu's death was something no one expected, and it was obviously done by a very powerful martial artist. That could only mean Ranma was back and on a killing spree. The sometimes-panda started sweating. He was in deep trouble if Ranma remembered the things he'd suffered through in his youth.

Soun started crying once the shock set in. Surprisingly it wasn't about the schools never being joined. "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!"

Akane and Soun did their best to ignore Soun's antics while they learned as much as they could of Ranma's return from the news.

Unnoticed by the trio Kasumi, who was standing unnoticed by the door, slipped out of the room silently.

"I refuse this!"

"But master Kuno..."

"Lies! Nothing but lies!" Kuno Tatewaki bellowed as he waved his family katana around. "The vile sorcerer Saotome was vanquished from this world!"

Sasuke lowered his head and sighed. Kuno would eventually calm down and think more 'rationally.' When he did, though, the Kuno family's retainer feared what bone-headed plan he would come up with.

"Sasuke."

"Yes, master Kuno." The small ninja looked up at his master.

Kuno stared down at his servant and frowned. "Make sure my sister learns not of these news."

Sasuke sighed again. "Yes, master Kuno." The order was useless. Kodachi had no way of learning about Ranma's return.

---

All in all the sentiment in Nerima about Ranma's return from death was that of nervousness. While they would've mostly been happy for it, the fact that he'd already killed Nabiki and Tofu was alarming. Granted, Nabiki was the one that supposedly had him killed and they had no evidence about Tofu, but whenever weird things happened Ranma was always the origin of the crazyness. The pigtailed martial artist was out for blood, and no one knew who was next on his list.
