He studied the child for a moment, then smirked as he thought, "This child has a surprising amount of Chakra for one so young; if he continues to grow at this rate, he will be quite formidable. Raised correctly, he could be an excellent weapon to use for my revenge against the Third. Kukuku..."

Chuckling the whole time, Orochimaru carried the basket with the small child into his home, idly noting the letter contained within.
