Seeing that no was was acting as a threat to her in particular at the moment, Akane stood back up on her feet. "LISTEN ALL OF YOU! I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU'RE ALL HARASSING MY GRANDFATHER, BUT STOP IT! HE'S A GOOD MAN AND..."
"Hush Akane..." Gothwrain said in a whispered voice.
Turning to stare at her grandfather, Akane asked, "What!? But they're accusing you of doing all sorts of bad things-"
"Which are all true..." Gothwrain admitted as he interrupted Akane. This caused all three of the Tendo girls' eyes to widen in shock. Those eyes then seemed to widen even more as they watched Gothwrain shift to his hybrid form.
Gothwrain stood up. "Yes. I admit it. I did orchestrate the destruction of the werecheetah clan. But I did it to save my people. Our Seer had recieved a vision. A lone werecheetah would one day become powerful enough and slaughter EVERY WERERAT! My people had to destroy the werecheetahs before the prophocey came true, and that lone werecheetah killed us..."
Nabiki blinked. "Does this mean we're all wererats?"
Gothwrain nodded his head. "Yes. All three of you, my granddaughters should be wererats too." Gothwrain then frowned. "And being with that BEAST," Gothwrain shouted as he pointed at Ranma, "Is practically signing your own death warrant!"
It was a moment of shock then. No one knew how to answer that. Akane had to deal with her emotions. She was angry at Ranma because he wasn't trying to defend himself against such accusation. He wasn't doing anything to try to keep her and him a couple. He wasn;t doing anything like he normally does! However, Akane failed to realize she herself was doing nothing to stop such a thing.
It was then Akane stood up. "Grandfather. Please. Teach me. I want to learn my heritage. I want to protect my people from these MONSTERS!" Akane said as she glared at the werecheetahs, but specifically Ranma. After all, if she acted like she hated him, and tried to believe it, then the pain in her heart would lessen when she didnt have him anymore.
