Happosei stood on a mountain in the wilderness, looking at a deep cave. With a small nod he hopped inside.

A few hops and he stopped, pulling out a lantern and lighting it up illuminating the large chamber he had entered.

Happosei turned and responded, "Being someplace quiet and familiar to review the plan really helps." He looked to where the large black statue stood. "And we both want things to go right, don't we Sukiyaki?"

Indeed, indeed, my High Lord. The Darkness Device responded in a tone suggesting a deep sigh.

"You know, it's funny the way those idiots wound up helping me that time they locked me up in here. Of course they couldn't have realized that it would hook me up with you." He paused to laugh. "You know, maybe I should give them a bigger role in my ascent, possibly drop a few rewards their way."

"Don't be so sure, I've known that pair for a long time." Shaking his head, Happosei turned to a different part of the room. "Still, they can wait." He walked up to an area with finely written words carved into the stone of the wall. "The worldlaws. Now this was a tough concept, remember? I mean. . ." He traced his hand over the words LAW OF TRAINING "the idea of worlds where there's limits to how good you can get, where there's that overtraining thing. . . It still seems almost farfetched."

"I know, you've said so." Happosei responded in annoyance. He closed his eyes and sighed. "Well, I guess all I can do is make the plans, and let the changes happen at their own pace."
