Watching as the shadowy blur slowly began to gain focus, Peter tried to figure out what it was abought the figure that seemed off.
After a couple of minute had passed he noticed that the figure wasn’t getting any clearer. The crowd surrounding it was crisp and clear with nice sharp lines, it however was blurred and dark making identification impossible.
It couldn’t just be an error in the negative because everything around it was fine. You could see the Black Rose glaring at the Spider Rose with all due clarity, but the figure next to her was just a dull blur.
He could even feel a slight buzz from her and the surrounding crowd. Potential danger always gave off a low level buzz, even in a picture, it was one of the things that had worried him when he first gained his powers.
It was only through trial and error he discovered that he could ‘read’ an object to see if a person was a threat to him. It wasn’t reliable but when it worked it worked. This was different.
The crowd buzzed as did the Black Rose, but from the figure he couldn’t feel a thing.
Not a thing.
