"If you ask me Ranma seemed relieved that you showed up." Helena stated to the captain.
"Ranma was chosen by the owner of Paradise to come. You see this contest only went to a few men and women who had one thing in common." Chad hesitated. "The one thing in common they had was they wanted to commit suicide."
"Suicide!?"
"Ranma may not show it but he is very nervous around beautiful women." Chad continued.
"What?" Helena was shocked. "But Ranma is so handsome I would think that he would be a playboy."
The captain of the ship laughed. "You think so. Due to his former father Ranma had nothing but trouble with women. They treated him like a prize or like piece of crap depending on thier moods. Ranma's former father is a man that I would kill if I had the chance. Ranma did not want the girls' attention but each girl had their own reason, mainly because of his former father, to possess him. He was always to blame if something went wrong by everyone from where he came from.
"You see these girls may have been gorgeous in their own way but their own attitudes and souls were damn ugly. Ranma is one of the kindest people you would ever meet and those girls ruthlessly took advantage of that. I found that out myself from him."
Helena was thinking on what Chad had said about Ranma. Hearing the noise from the party Helena thanked the captain and walked inside.

When Helena walked inside a few of the women could see that she had a lot on her mind.
"So what's on your mind?" Tina asked. Kasumi and a few of the other girls nodded.
"I was thinking of a man that I had met on the ship." Helena decided to be honest. She explained she had gotten lost and met Ranma and the captain.
"So what is this Ranma like?" Lei Fang asked. Almost every girl gathered around the opera singer.
"Well he's tall, dark, and handsome." Helena answered. "But he is not a playboy or womanizer. In fact he's had so much trouble with women he is quiter nervous around them."
"How so?" Mai Shiranui asks. A lot of the other women were curious as well.
Helena explained what the captain told her about Ranma. How close Ranma was to committing suicide because of how women took advantage of him and why he was on his way to Paradise.
A lot of the women sympathized with Ranma and looked foward to meeting him.
