Twin Tomboys: The return of the Dark Horse [Episode 1087]

by TheCentauress

Eight years had passed. Since that day, nearly a decade ago, Ranma had grown to become a part of the family; the opposite was also true - each of Soun's daughters had contributed to the growth of this beautiful little girl into the young lady she is today, while learning a bit about themselves in the process.

*PIN-PON* Ranma whisked off the apron she wore over her black slacks and red blouse combination and casually tossed it to the peg on the wall. She threw a quick call over her shoulder, "I'll get it!" and quick walked to the door.

She opened it to see the face of Mr. Shimoro, the postman. "Morning, Ranma-chan!" he greeted the lively redhead. "Here's the mail!"

She gave the middle-aged man a rakish grin. "Thank you, Shimoro-san," she replied. "How's Akiku?" The mailman gave a quick grin. "She just got accepted into Furnikan," he chuckled.

Ranma giggled. "Oooh," she mock-moaned, "I'm doomed."

The pair chatted for a moment more, before the postman had to continue on his duties. Reentering the house, the redhead began sorting the mail. "Bill, letter for Kasumi, bill, letter for..." she paused, reading the postcard carefully.

Tendo,

Bringing my heir.
Will arrive Friday, kami willing.

Saotome.

She carelessly laid the rest of the mail on a side table, placed the postcard at Soun's normal sitting area and then called upstairs. "Akane, can you meet me in the dojo?"

The response was immediate. "Hai! Be there in about five minutes!"

Ranma walked out from the house, her hands balled into fists.
