Of course, she didn't expect any less from any boy. For way too long, she had been bothered by a pack of them, and even though she beat them every time they came after her, they would repeat it daily. And even if one of the idiots got a clue and stopped, there would be another who would join in, never figuring that she wouldn't agree to that... that... stupid declaration of Kuno's anyway.
As if she would go out with a boy anyway. By what she'd seen they were all hormone addled perverts with no control what so ever. Each and every one of them could go somewhere else as far as she was concerned, and it didn't matter which. If they weren't involved directly in the morning mess, they were making comments and enjoying the 'show'.
She wasn't about to give up on guys though. Boys might have been complete disasters, but the fact that there were men like Doctor Tofu was a good thing. An older guy had self control for the most part, and could be so nice and gentle. Even if he went to pieces every time Kasumi came around, it only went to show just how special an older guy could be.
Provided that they didn't get too old. Akane closed her pack with a shove and scowled as she remembered just how bad things had gotten. 'Grandfather' Happosai was a complete and utter perverted pest, but what made it worse was that her father wouldn't stand up to him. So she had to deal with the old freak groping her and her sisters while her 'strong' parent blubbered and made false platitudes.
It just sucked, even if she was getting better in the Art. Becoming stronger was one thing, but it wasn't that good when it came from dodging perverts. She just wished that...
"Oh my sweet Akane..," murmured an unwanted voice.
... everyone would just leave her alone! "AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!"
"You look so put out my dear. Let me comfort..," Happosai said and leapt at her... only to meet her fist as it rocketed towards his head for a punch. "Yooooooooouuu..."
"Grr..." She could take care of herself, thank you very much, and didn't need anyone sticking their nose in her business.
