"What are those things?" Mink asked, pointing at Kiyone's gloves.
"They're a a little bit of help from an acquaintance of mine," Kiyone said. "Gravity control gloves. That's how I can trap people so they don't move or..." She gestured a bit and a sudden glowing bubble appeared around the dragon girl. "...how I can make force fields to protect people. It's a new piece of equipment for me, I haven't quite figured it out yet."
"That's so cool!" "Kitty Mouse" declared. "You know, I met this lady named Gina Diggers once, and she had the same sort of gadgets. Technology is so weird." Weird had a decidedly complimentary tone to it.
"Uh, right," Kiyone said, looking up (and up) at the tall girl in the red leather corset. "Tell me, aren't you and the dragon a little young for all this?"
"Yes!" the blonde man said. "Young minds such as yours should be enjoying your lives and preparing for the future, not risking your lives."
"Younger people than me have saved the world," Mink said, huffing. "Besides, my father was a GREAT hero, even if he's just a lazy slob now You know THE Undefeated Red Lightning."
"Last I heard," the Blood Rose said, finally speaking up. "The Red Lightning retreated to an exile on a Carribean island to live with some super-villianous by the name of Mana that he'd be tasked to capture." Her tone of voice was not entirely uncomplimentary. Some of it was just impatient.
"Uh, yeah," Mink said, looking embarrassed. She sighed and shook her head, thinking, "I'm so unlucky."
"Okay, anyway," Vash said. "I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies could tell me where on Gunsmoke we were. I've never seen this much water or this much vegetation before."
"Where's Gunsmoke?" Denise asked, voicing the opinion of the other three girls.
"I've never heard of that place either," Kiyone said, looking doubtful.
