”He’s probably busy having fun wasting those foolish Terrans, it isn’t like this is the first he’s ignored radio calls while having ‘fun’.” Sathanus replied dismissively. After all what could a few Terran civilian vehicles do to the might of a Neosapien E-frame?
”Sir I would agree except that the signals from the vehicles are still on the radar and Ensign Astaroth’s signal is getting weak- no it’s gone now sir.” The com-officer states once the readings from Astaroth’s E-frame went totally silent.
”Commander, the Terran vehicles are within visual range now!” Another officer called out as he stood by an observation window with binoculars out and scouting ahead. He put down the binoculars and looked at his commanding officer. “And their speed isn’t decreasing; they’ll be upon us in mere minutes.”
Sathanus sneered. “Damn Terrans, always have to make a fuss. Pull all patrol E-frames to the front gate, and have all auto-guns ready to lay down a barrage.”
”As you command sir!” The officer went to a console to begin relaying the orders. Sathanus looked at a video monitor and pressed a button for camera zoom-in.
”How can a bunch of civilian vehicles take out one of our E-frames? I don’t see any weapons onboard.” He mused to himself.
On the road Optimus Prime could see more of the purple exoskeletons Spike and Sparkplug referred to as E-Frames amassing at the front gate. “Looks like the welcoming committee is waiting to greet us Autobots, prepare for battle!”
”Just tell me where and they’ll fried slag Prime.” Ironhide said as his roof top opened up and his rifle came up ready to fire.
”I’ll make a way in, Ironhide, Rachet you follow me in. Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, you get to pick off the outside patrols and defenses.”
”Roger that Prime.” Sideswipe said as his missile launcher popped up from a hidden compartment.
”So it’s alright to make them into mush?” Sunstreaker inquired, just to make sure he could fight unrestrained without a reprimand at the end of the whole thing.
”If they attack you they’re free game, but if they opt to surrender you show them mercy.” Optimus replied as on each side of his cab a Vulcan cannon came out from a hidden compartment.
“And if they pretend to surrender but then try to ice me?” The yellow ‘car’ asked.
”Then refer to the first directive,” was the Prime’s reply. “But make sure you avoid shooting near the barracks where the humans are kept.”
”Sweet,” Sunstreaker would grin if he was in robot mode.
”Head’s up everybody we’re getting within firing range.” Rachet warned as his duel pistols came out of his roof top like Ironhide’s sidearm had.
No sooner than the medic said those words the ground around the bots exploded as laser and gunfire erupted from the E-frame’s and turret guns mounted atop the camp walls. Prime sped up his heavy armor deflecting the enemy fire off his hide while he returned the favor by letting loose with his Vulcan cannons; succeeding in sending two E-frames to the ground for keeps. Moving forward he honked his horn three times as he approached the gate; ran over the two E-frames he fell and smashed right into the front gate, ripping it off it’s hinges and struts falling to the ground under his tires as he rolled in.
Skidding to a halt, Optimus disengaged from his trailer which in turn turned orange as it vanished into subspace; while Prime finished transforming to robot mode. Behind him Rachet and Ironhide rolled in and transformed to robot mode as well weapons drawn. Outside Sunstreaker and Sideswipe had also transformed and their weapons drawn on the remaining E-frames outside the gate they hadn’t trashed on the way in.
”Attention Neosapiens, I am Optimus Prime, we demand you release the humans. Comply and we promise nobody will get hurt, if you refuse your lives are forfeit, and any attempt to harm your prisoners will only make things worse for you.” Prime said aloud as he cocked his rifle and held it up.
A loudspeaker came on and the voice of Commander Sathanus boomed aloud. “The Neosapiens do not surrender robot, I can only assume you’re a new weapon the Terrans have constructed in a futile attempt to delay the inevitable. YOU Surrender and maybe we will show you mercry.”
”What the slag, it’s like talkin’ to a Con or Megatron himself.” Ironhide snorted.
”I guess they aren’t that different from the Decepticons after all.” Rachet mused, after hearing Spike and Sparplug’s stories the medic had made a comparison automatically by instinct alone.
”Then I guess we’ll show them the curtsey we show the Decepticons eh’ boys?” Prime looked at his men, before aiming his rifle toward the command building. “Sorry but we’re not big on surrendering either.” Prime stated before pulling the trigger.
The battle had begun; the Autobots had now involved themselves into the war between Homosapiens and Neosapiens and there was no backing out now.
