Yugi was feeling like he was going crazy. He was getting headaches, shifting from fatigue to hyperactive, and twitching like crazy. The strange thing was that many of his friends were going through strange conditions as well. Kaiba, Joey, Tea, Bakura and even a visiting Mai. All seemed to be suffering from some kind of condition. That's when Yami stepped in. "Yugi, I think that I have seen something like this in my fractured memories. It's possible that due to the magics and energies that we have experience from the combination of the recent Battle City and Duellist Kingdom, we have awakened the blood of the gods!"
Yugi groaned from the feelings of freakishness his body was having. 'Can you explain it a little clearer? I think that my head is about to explode. "
"Simply that people with the blood of the gods hold the ability to due superhuman feats. Buried in their blood are powers such as super strength, mind reading, control the elements, and such. It seems to come in waves, but exposure to magic can trigger the emerging of the power. It is also common for these powers to appear in what you would call the teen years." Said Yami, adding, " I believe that these symptoms are just the precursor to the power appearing. "
'I hope so.' Yugi thought to his friend. 'Cause I don't think I can take any more of this.'
Meanwhile...
Across the ocean, the sudden appearance of superhuman in the Land of the Rising Sun. These were a group of super humans themselves and they were looking at either a possible aid in the east or a new threat that they would have to face and defeat.
