”It’s Uranus and Neptune!” said the new Mars after a moment of intense concentration. “And they’re coming right for us!”
”Beryl,” said Ranma and Saturn together looking at each other and remembering the last time they’d seen those three.
*Now I have a chance to get back at her for my…curse…* thought Ranma, glancing over at the new Mars and stopping, suddenly getting a nasty smirk on his face.
”What?” asked Mercury after seeing the look Ranma had.
”Could you make me something out of really solid ice?” he asked Mercury.
”I suppose so, why?” asked the genie.
”I’ll show you in a minute,” said Ranma. “Could you make it like this?” he asked sketching the vague outline of a baseball bat in the air.
”They’re getting closer!” warned Mars.
”Here!” said Mercury handing an ice sculpture of a baseball bat to Ranma.
”Great! Now Mars stand right there,” he said pointing to the spot in front of and slightly to the left of the door. “You two stand beside her. Mars, when Beryl comes in wave and say Hi.”
”Ok,” agreed Mars, not really understanding.
”Well it seems my curse just took a little longer to work!” laughed Beryl crashing through the door with the leashed Uranus and Neptune leading the way.
”Hi,” said Mars waving as instructed.
Uranus and Neptune didn’t even glance at each other for fear of giving away that all three of the people in front of them were genies, or that there were three rings sneaking up behind them.
”GOTTA LOVE THAT PAYBACK!” shouted Ranma bringing his ice bat down on Beryl’s head from behind, after slamming the door he was standing behind. The hit dropped her to the floor unconscious before she had any clue she was under attack.
Ranma yanked the rings off of Beryl’s fingers in a flash and turned back to the two bond genies and banished their bonds with a wave of his hand.
”OH THANK YOU MASTER!” shouted the two genies together grabbing the ten-year-old Ranma between them in a hug.
Remembering what had happened between him and the old Mars Ranma blushed brightly and tried get some breathing room.
"What do you mean you stole an Amazon artifact to find me?"
