Ranma Saotome had become Ash Ketchum, codenamed "Wild Horse." A kid in high school, but working for the Gatekeeper program and in charge of four magical girls.
Haruka Ketchum was one of the three recent additions to Ash's team. She'd spent most of her life pretending to be a boy, and had been given physical and psychological manipulations as a result of her resisting capture when she'd been found.
Michiru Ketchum was the second of the three new additions, and had been a darling of high society until she'd been found out. From the heights of her old position she'd crashed to the lowest of the low. Now her star was rising again - and she was prepared to do anything to keep that good fortune continuing.
Setsuna Ketchum was the only one besides Ranma who remembered a different life, though she found herself fighting a losing battle with her native self. She had more of a clue as to what had happened than Ranma, though how long she'd be able to keep from collapsing into her current role was anyone's guess.
Makoto Ketchum had been with Ranma the longest. She had fallen completely for her "Handler" and was the most loyal. She was prepared to run damage control and try to keep these new three from rocking the boat.
That Ash was to meet with Mamoru Chiba was neither unexpected nor particularly noteworthy to anyone but Setsuna, and she was keeping her own counsel on this.
"So you're 'Rooster'?" asked Ash, sitting down.
"Yeah. Mamoru Chiba, you're 'Horse'?" asked Mamoru.
"Ra...ight. Ash Ketchum," said Ash. "Now let's get to business."
"You've got Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto," said Mamoru. "I've got Venus, Mars, Moon, and Mercury."
"No Saturn?" asked Ash, knowing THAT much astronomy at least.
"Not yet," stated Mamoru. "This is just to establish a working relationship. We'll have to allocate some time to meet and have our respective girls practice together."
"What about the others?" Ash asked. "I'm 'Wild Horse', you're 'Rooster'."
"Ah," said Mamoru.
