Nabiki smirked, not truly believing the bout of luck that had just befallen her.
She had known something was up with Ranma for weeks. His performance at school was increasing, sure. But his fighting skills seemed to be on the decline, as if his gas tank wasn’t being filled like it needed to be. Even though his appetite had more than doubled—and it was a nice benefit to see the fat panda losing some weight since Ranma now stole all the food from him—it just didn’t seem to be enough.
So she watched, and she waited, biding her time until she discovered what it was. And she knew it was big when Ranma started showing an immunity to girls pressing their charms—i.e. flashing him—when the fiancées tried to visit him.
And then she found out: she caught him on tape using Instant Shuanshontsu- niichuan, Instant Twin water, to separate himself into his male and female forms.
And then... Well, she had enough to bury him alive and sell his soul. After all, it was either considered incest or the most unique form of masturbation ever.
So, interrupting the happy self-couple after they finished—it did bode well that Ranma-kun at least made certain Ranma-chan had the Big O—she brought them to her room to explain ... after making them come nude and still dripping.
Nothing wrong with intimidation where you could get it.
And then when they explained why they were doing it, and even showed the book...
Nabiki just had to laugh. “My, Ranma, I didn’t know you were so foolish.”
The two Ranmas just growled at her. “What’s that supposed to mean?” they said at the same time.
“Quite simple,” she said. “The book said you either need to steal someone else’s life force, or generate sexual energy, correct?”
They slowly nodded.
“Well then, aren’t you in either form ... the same source of life force?”
“But it was working,” said Ranma-kun.
“The spells were coming off as it said they should.”
“Oh, I don’t doubt that this little stunt did allow you to get what you needed,” said Nabiki with a smile. “But its like the difference between Kasumi’s meals and Akane’s. Your little stunt is giving you bad fuel. Sure it works, but you don’t get the performance you need.”
“You want me dead from studying this?” accused Ranma-kun.
“It ain’t like we had an option in the matters, not if I want cured,” snarled Ranma-chan.
“I can help you with the options,” she offered with her false smile.
“Why?” they asked. After all, Nabiki rarely did anything that didn’t benefit her in some way.
“Well, thanks to your poor fuel method, you’re starting to throw off the betting odds. Sure, I’d make a killing if you lost, but the slow proof that you can is putting more people betting against you as time goes on. If that keeps up, soon I’ll have to make a payout that I won’t like.”
“And?” they asked together.
“Well, it wouldn’t do for my new ... employees ... to be so weak.”
“Who said I was gonna work for you?” they growled.
“Who said I should keep this little event and knowledge to myself?” she smiled.
The Ranmas gulped. She had them, and they knew it.
“To make the proper use of the spells, you need two different life forces, which means my dear Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan, you need someone other than yourselves.”
“And you’ll just offer some willing participants to assist me?” said Ranma-kun coldly.
“You underestimate your popularity in either form, Saotome. And don’t give me that ‘I’m a guy’ bullshit. You fucked yourself and you loved it, so you have no room to argue. So you have no room to complain what gender I set you up with. But don’t worry, I won’t force yaoi or yuri on you ... yet.”
Seeing their blanks stares, she sighed. “I won’t force you to fuck a guy as a guy or a girl as a girl.”
“Oh,” they nodded. “Um ... thanks?”
Nabiki sighed. Sure, they were learning spells and starting to do better at school. But they were still idiots, no matter which Ranma was the main one.
“So what now?” they asked together once again.
Something I wonder if they really are sharing the same brain like this, Nabiki thought to herself.
