Alien 1/2 - GD: All in a day's work. [Episode 113271]

by Ninja Kasuga of the Demonite Race

Joseph Carter asked himself once again…how could this day get any fucking worse? He vowed that if he gout out of this alive he’d NEVER ever complain about a slow day ever again!

“Lord, if you can just get me through this so I can see my wife and daughter again I’ll never skip Sunday ever again.” Joseph muttered to himself as he kept his back to the wall of the corner of the condemned building he was currently hiding in. He wanted to radio back up but two things kept him from doing that; one being that his radio had been damaged during the initial attack, and the second reason being he knew anything less than the army would be massacred by…whatever the hell was out there.

He heard the sound of boarded up wood breaking and became as quiet as possible. He knew he was probably risking himself by breathing. The thing had sharp ears, eyes; every sense was more honed than that of a human’s.

Joseph blinked as he felt the wooden floors begin to vibrate; his eyes went wide as he realized the vibrations were coming from behind; immediately he rolled forward away from the wall just as a fist with two sharp blades attached came through the wall. Rolling back onto his feet Joseph brought his gun up to shoot, but he froze.

The thing wasn’t invisible anymore, he saw the gauntlet on its left arm was damaged, and fizzling sparks; must have happened when he was shooting at it blindly on the run. Words failed him to describe the thing other than it was between seven and eight feet tall, had yellowish skin with brown and black spots in places. It was sparsely clothed, only arm gauntlet, anklets, moderate chest armor, groin covering, and a helmet and backpack.

“Jesus, what the fuck are you?!” He demanded, even if he knew he would get an answer. He took aim again and squeezed off four rounds; for a big mother fucker it was fast, only one round nicked it in the side, and he had to duck and rolled or he’d be missing his head as the thing swiped at him with its wrist claws.

A sharp kick to his back sent Joseph rolling across the floor; losing his grip on his gun which skidded to the far wall. He barely had a chance to groan in pain before another kick put him on his back; he saw the thing raise its right arm back aiming for his head. “This is it, Amelia, Danielle I’m sorry…

Then a splatter of green blood exploded across his face and chest as the creature was cut diagonally from the waist through his left shoulder. The tip half fell backwards as the lower half collapsed forward, Joseph crawled back against the wall. The sight alone scared the shit out of him and he was close to hyperventilating.

”That was a close call officer; you did the smart thing and ran instead of stand your ground when you knew you were outmatched. I wish I could say the same for your partners.” A voice said from nowhere.

”W-who’s there? Dammit first I’m attacked by that thing and now I’m hearing things.”

“No need not worry about who I am officer, lets just say it’s my job to do ‘damage control’ when these bastards decide to hunt.” The voice said before he heard it no longer.

“…Maybe I should take Amelia’s advice and use those accumulated vacation days soon.” Joseph muttered to himself.

Meanwhile Tusk stood on a rooftop; he barely got there in time to prevent another death. So far he’d been lucky but he was worry about the children that had been tagged…and the xenomorph-human hybrid especially had him concerned.

”I need to start digging into my sources. There maybe some secret project concerning the fusion of human and alien DNA in some government database.”
