It took only a moment to register Chihiro and Keiichi next to her and respond with what she considered to be a rather understated expression of surprise. It was as if she'd woken up to find that she'd left the television on rather than discovering, and subsequently remembering, having made love to one of the two people next to her.
Nor was she, and it was something of a mystery to her, jealous that Keiichi had made love to his boss first. Sayoko didn't really even mind that she had been sleeping next to a naked woman for who knows how long. It felt fine.
What did worry her was her lack of clothes. She heard a voice and recognized it, she knew not how, as Peorth, she didn't know where she got the name, and stood up wearily to shamble in the direction of the living room.
She had awakened enough to recover something of her normal graceful stride as she was about to turn the corner.
"Dear," the appelation seemed natural. "You wouldn't happen to know where my,"
Sayoko stopped and almost choked on her tongue as she turned the corner. Immediately she ducked back out of sight of the visitor.
"Ah, Megumi," Sayoko said nervously from her position out of sight. "How are you?"
