Once it had achieved worldwide spread, and the beauty cream had begun a boom in popularity - the other half was activated.
It spread in a wave from the point of origin in Tokyo, as it passed from one to the other of those using the affected substances. Duration of the curse was short - only six days from the beginning to the end. During that time, rage would grow to higher and higher levels and it would only be focussed on one particular target.
Men weren't affected at all directly. They certainly noticed the indirect effects.
The women and girls affected by this curse knew rage and the need to express violence upon anyone of the male gender that crossed their path. Unreasoning rage swept through them, and it wasn't until after the curse passed that the real horror came to those who had just regained their senses.
During that time under the curse, the thin veneer of civilization had been cast aside and all males were seen as Enemy and Outsider. Once it had passed, reason returned.
Horror as well. Those women who came to their senses had killed their loved ones. Their sons and husbands and fathers were often dead by their own hands. They had memories of their co-workers, friends, and associates being murdered in violent fashion and the only thing they'd felt at the time was satisfaction or glee at the sport provided.
The mazoku seed within Sailor Pluto fed well upon this harvest. Anguish, horror, depression, fear, disgust, anger - quite a banquet for a mazoku. As it grew, so did its hold over the Senshi Of Time. Her appearance further altered. From a mainly leather and spiked version of the Senshi uniform, it lost the skirt and and her high heels spread up to thigh level. Spikes, small ones anyway, sprouted along the gloves and the new boots.
"AGHHH! WHO'S THAT?!" Sailor Moon asked as she and several others appeared.
"Hello, Usagi. Nice of you to come," said Dark Pluto, snapping her Time Whip.
"SETSUNA?!" squeaked a suddenly nervous Sailor Moon.
"EEK!" eeeked Sailor Jupiter.
"Setsuna has turned to the ecchi side of the force," said Sailor Venus.
"I think you mean Dark Side," said Sailor Mercury.
CRACK! went Dark Pluto's whip.
"Okay, maybe we're both right?" tried Sailor Mercury.
"I have the most exquisite bondage planned for each of you," said Dark Pluto, licking her lips as she checked out her fellow Senshi. "Now that I've seen the light, so to speak, I can make my darkest fantasies come true."
Zip!
"Why is everyone hiding behind me?" asked Sailor Jupiter.
