That was as far as she got before the clarion call of "ONECHAN!!!" tore through the building, only a few moments ahead of the girl from whose voice it had erupted.
Skuld practically enveloped Belldandy's side, holding tightly to her other sister as she started to ramble, her face beet red.
"Onechan! I'm sorry!" she gasped. "I didn't mean to...to...Me and Keiichi...and, I...I." Skuld's hand's gripped Belldandy's gown tightly, gathering the material in, as she alternately buried her head in Belldandy's chest and looked up at Belldandy. "I did...that...with Keiichi. It just happened so fast, and...and..."
She stopped, just how was she supposed to explain to her sister that she had wanted it, wanted it badly, still wanted it, in fact? Her face flushed to an even brighter red.
"That is all right, Skuld," Belldandy said softly, though a little frazzled herself.
Belldandy sighed and patted Skuld's back comfortingly. She had hoped Skuld had escaped the situation, but had already known it wasn't the case.
Skuld sighed and again buried her head in Belldandy's chest and felt herself relaxing for a moment. She always felt warm and safe in her sister's arms. And, now, there was another pleasant feeling added in to it. It reminded Skuld of...
Skuld paled suddenly and stepped quickly away from her sister, looking shocked.
"What is it?" Belldandy asked.
"I...You...umm," Skuld bit her lip and noticed, for the first time the other people in the room. "I don't know." She said firmly, face reddenning again.
Athena had the reports on the readings taken on Belldandy and the others, and had a strong guess as to just what had surprised Skuld so, but she wasn't going to voice it just yet.
Belldandy was distracted slightly by Skuld's unusual behavior, but she didn't let it stop her from gathering herself, nor was she about to let the act hurt her own feelings. Skuld was obviously in a precarious mental state. There was no question that she probably would be acting strangely for a time.
As Skuld sat down, still blushing madly and now half-hiding behind Sayoko, Belldandy collected herself and offered, a second time, "Shall I go get those refreshments then?"
