"Hah! You missed... Ara?" The yoma's face took on a thoughtful expression. THUNK!
The Senshi watched as the two halves of the yoma slid apart before dissolving.
Ranma looked towards the Senshi and slowly walked towards them, finally settling to one knee before the one in blue. He had a script to follow, the problem being he didn't remember all the words. "Ami Mizuno, per the terms of the contract with your mother, I present myself for service. I am Ranma Saotome, mamluk certified class A, Yojimbo licensed. My sword is Kusazen, my style Ishikawa. I have been trained extensively in five unarmed martial arts styles including my family's style of Anything Goes. I have been rated a marksman in automatic pistols, revolvers, and high powered rifles. I have licensure for operating automobiles, helicopters, and private planes. For the next five years, my life is to protect your own."
Dead silence.
Sailor Mercury was flustered, knowing that she had to say something - there was some ritual response involved - but not what she had to say. Recent events had made her forget entirely about the contract.
"Jedite?"
"Milady, there is a complication. A mamluk-yojimbo, A-Class, has been hired to watch over one of the Senshi by some admirer."
Queen Beryl considered her minion briefly. "Find out who owns the contract, then buy it from them. If this bodyguard is skilled enough, it is only fitting that he work for US."
"As you say, my Queen," said Jadeite.
"Hmmmm," said Beryl, thumbing through her copy of 'Professional Jannissaries' - "I hope its one that knows these massage techniques."
