Draconis Amorph: Astral Programming [Episode 114160]

by Thrythlind

Fauntleroy stared in shock and amazement as the human before him shifted through the contents of the mymior with an ease only the mymior's creator should have had. If anybody at all should have had it so easy.

He regained his composure, though, watching for the spell he needed and reminding himself that Gina Diggers, however impressive, was just human.

And then, there it was, the Draconis Amorph. He reached out with his astral claws to grip it, make it part of his personal store of power and magic and...

His first grab slipped.

Brianna was holding Gina's unconscious form when Fauntleroy sprang to his feet and then collapsed, weakend by his soul dive.

"Hey!" Brianna shouted. "I thought you were supposed to wake up at the same time!!"

"S..sire?" Thirty-Eight asked in concern.

"No time," Fauntleroy said weakly. "I have what we came for and now we have to leave!!"

"Answer my question!" Brianna shouted. "Why didn't Gina revive with you!?"

Fauntleroy stood up with Thirty-Eight's help, virtually ignoring Brianna. The lycanthropoid came to her own conclusions and started to stand, snarling as her eyestripe flared into life. Which was when Six slammed into her from behind.

"Excellent work, Six," Fauntleroy said. "Now, take us out of here!!"

"Shouldn't we fini..." Thirty-Eight started.

And then the beams of green light returned and Six began to panic as Thirty-Eight and Fauntleroy scrambled onto her back, the Wyrm still confused as to just why Fauntleroy was in such a hurry.

She glanced back over her shoulder and, to her shock and horror, she saw the sleeping form of Gina Diggers morphing and stretching out, becoming something that Thirty-Eight wanted to be more than anything.

"FLY FASTER, SIX!!!!!" she practically screeched. The idea of a full-formed angry dragon, even a neophyte, rising behind them while they were still there filled her with dread.

"I'M FLYING!! I'M FLYING!!"

And then Peebri hit her and the drake fell, senseless, to the ground a far distance away.
