New Days: Visiting A Quiet Place [Episode 11450]

It was a place out of an old samurai epic. Verdant trees surrounded a building built of wood worn by age. Birds flittered over the treetops in groups. A soft mist covered everything in a touch of mystery. Stone steps lead to a walkway that looked to have had more important feet trod upon it than it was about to.

It was also close enough to Furinkan so that a bus trip trip could be taken during school hours.

"I guess that there are worse places ta go," commented Ranma.

Akane glared at him. "Jerk. This is a place of culture and history!"

"Exactly."

"Huh?"

"Think about it. That looney principal could have sent us someplace where they'd have palm trees or somethin'."

As Akane pondered that point (and the fact that Ranma had come up with something sensible), the class followed Hinako into the building. Within the first few moments, things had actually settled into an average school field trip. (Whether or not it stayed like that was anyone's guess.)
