The attack was based on the concepts of using the negative ki to attack someone as the demon assault bomb but it went beyond that.
The stars and the moon went dark as the city was enshrouded in an unholy darkness. Pure energy leaped from Ranma’s outstretched hands the color of nothingness.
There is no defense against this. No second chances or regrets, only the cold comfort of oblivion.
The moment the sphere of nothingness touched the Youma every sound went silent, every light went dark, the heavens themselves were darkened in an unholy shroud. There was no sound or explosion as the Youma was annihilated, its very presence removed from the fabric of the universe, it was as though it had never existed. The destruction it had caused was no more, and the memories of it would slowly fade. The universe itself would soon forget the Youma’s very presence.
Most of the Senshi were all severely shaken and Mars had fainted. That attack had a similar feeling to one of Hotaru’s but much darker. Even the normally stoic and absent Pluto had put in a pale face appearance having witnessed the event from the Gate of Time. If the situation turned nasty she was sure that the Princess would need all the help she could get, and the rest of the Outers were still several minutes away.
Ranma had not moved since releasing the attack, slight amounts of energy still crackled from between his hands. Slowly rising from his crouch he allowed his hands to fall to his sides. Delivering an unreadable stare towards Mercury he cloaked himself in the Umi-sekin and faded into the shadows.
Several minutes passed before the Senshi regained the capacity for speech.
“Mommy???”
