PokeGirls (GD): of money and Pokegirls? [Episode 115820]

by Dralan

Vash looked on at Ranma as he sat there depressed to the point of almost just draining the energy out of anything. Vash thought to himself as he stood there with the Pokégirl tamer’s Pokédex in hand. “Ranma, here take your dex back and keep your Nurse Joy… I can’t stand to depress someone this much just be cause he or she lost a gym battle.”

Ranma looked up at the gym leader like he had grown another head. “Really? Your going to let me keep her?” Ranma asked, with so much hope that it looked like the gods and goddess’ of the world had granted him a miracle. Vash just smiled again and handed him the Pokédex back. Ranma scrambled to his feet and took the Pokédex back nicely and humbly. (I know what your thinking Ranma and humble in the same sentence, but I went and did it)

Vash then went off with his Gun Bunny and Tank Vixen. ‘I’m just a softy for people that really love there Pokégirls… hmmm I need to remember to try and at least get a healing Pokégirl… I remember hearing about chancy joy’s being around some where near buckshine. I wonder if I could make it there with out having to deal with to much more?’ Vash then stood up and walked off after collecting his money and getting Ranma headed in the right direction towards a PokéCenter.

As Ranma walked off in the direction of the PokéCenter he kept thinking to himself, ‘I let the girls down…how could I be so stupid as to challenge someone and not know what to do about it let alone let my girls get hurt so easily…I …I should just let them go…they don’t need a loser like me…I might lose someone next time I fight a battle instead of money… I never want to fight someone again if they take them away like that.’

Eventually Ranma made it bake to the Green-Peace PokéCenter. You could tell that as Ranma walked in he looked like a kicked puppy. ‘I need to talk to someone… maybe I should get Jetta out and…’ he thought this all the way to his room. As he opened the door he pulled out Jetta’s Pokéball. “Jetta…I screw you.” The Pokéball opened up to reveal said lupine.

Ranma looked up to Jetta, to just then start to fall down towards the lupine. “Ranma!!!” she quickly caught him in her arms. Jetta pulled him into a standing position. “Ranma…wake up Ranma… please wake up!”

Ranma stirred a little to Jetta’s yelling and fright. “Wha-what? What’s going on?” Ranma asked as he looked up to see Jetta with a large amount of concern. Said lupine looked on with more concern. “You passed out in front of me. And you looked like a kicked baby lupine.” Ranma started to stand up to then have his legs give out. Jetta caught him again to then pick him up into her arms and sat down with him in her arms. Ranma wrapped his arms around Jetta slowly as his memory kicked in. “Jetta, I… lost a battle.”

Jetta held him to her as Ranma started to break down in her arms. “Shhhh…its ok Ranma…shhhh…everything will be fine…who did you fight?” Ranma looked up at Jetta as she said all this. “ I fought Vash the stamped…he pulled out these two Pokégirls calleed the dirty pair and *sniff* they blasted away Sheila and Grave…” Ranma said this sobbing into Jetta’s shoulder.

“And it was because of MY ego they got hurt and beaten bloody!” Ranma told Jetta. “I found out Vash as a Gym Leader and I challenged him! I goaded him into a PokéBattle to get a Gym Badge and make you proud...” He shook his head. “I should’ve kept my mouth shut and didn’t...”

“Vash?” Jetta asked with a raised eyebrow. “Wait, you mean Vash the Stampede!?” She asked with wide-eyes. No wonder her master felt so down. From what she had heard about Vash, he was a nice guy, but that made people underestimate him, and feel really down when they lost.

“Yes...” Ranma said as he slowly nodded his head. “THAT Vash...”

Jetta sighed. “Ranma, it’s okay. So you lost to Vash. It happens.” She didn't want to tell him that she was happy he didn't have to worry about another pokégirl, but that would bring his spirits down some more.

Ranma’s gaze looked distant for a moment; he was obviously lost in thought. “Jetta?” He asked. “Maybe I should just let you all go...”

“WHAT!?” Jetta screamed, outraged. “What the hell? What brought this on?”

Holding his hands up to placate the angered Lupina, Ranma asked her, “How can I be trusted with the welfare of your girls after this? Sheila and Grave got hurt because of me! And if someone else Battles me and I lose, what will happen to you guys?”

Jetta frowned at him, before lifting her master up and hugging him to her tightly. Ranma was about to ask what she was doing, when he felt her take several shuddering, deep breaths in and out. “Ranma, don’t do that, don’t think like that,” She whispered to his ear. "None of us will think anything less of you, trust me on that. Do you think Sheila, or Grave wants you to let them go? You've been the best thing to happen to the both of them. I know it.”

Holding back onto Jetta as she hugged him, Ranma whispered back, “I don’t know... I don’t know anymore. Ever since I got here, this whole thing has felt like a frickin’ GameBoy game... And it’s very real... You’ll suffer because of my actions...”

Jetta nodded. “I know. I know. But none of us would have it any other way, Ranma.” Though, she did wonder about that GameBoy game comment. It wasn’t too important to her though. “Ranma, if you asked Grave and Sheila if they wanted to be let go, they would grab your legs and squeeze so tight that you would think they’re about to fall off. They care for you too much, and they want your care in return. Just hearing you talk like this is hurting me. So, please, stop it.”

Ranma winced. “I’m sorry to hurt you...” Ranma said as he held onto the Lupina tightly; protectively. The Lupina shuddered. “Dammit, you’re so good, why do you doubt yourself so much!? Do you honestly think that any of the girls hate you because you lost!? HUH!? Ask them! Ask them if they hate you because you lost a battle! They’ll all say no!” Jetta cried out, literally, as tears fell down her face and she took deep breaths, trying to quit sobbing.

Ranma just held his Lupina tightly. He knew it was his fault she was hurting like this. “Jetta... Please stop... Please?” Ranma asked. “I won’t leave you if I’m too important... I promise... Just please stop crying...”

The Lupina nodded, but held onto Ranma tightly. “Sorry, but I can feel how you feel, and I don’t want you to feel that way anymore. You have to think what your choices will do to others.” She said, shivering lightly.

Ranma winced. “Again, I’m being selfish, huh?”

Jetta shook her head lightly. “It’s okay, you're only human. But think before you leap, okay?” She asked, sniffling. Dang it, she was much stronger than this.

Ranma just nodded to this as he got a look of deep thought on his face. “Jetta I think we should…
