"What happened?" Ranma asked dizzily, sitting up and clutching his head.
"I found a curse on you, sir," the hairdresser said simply. "So I decided to take it off."
"Eh?" Ranma said.
"Huh, excuse me?" a female voice said from nearby.
Ranma turned and saw his female self sitting on a nearby chair and blinking in confusion while dressed in a pretty sundress.
"I had to split off to save the soul," the hairdresser explained. "Now, off with you, I have other clients to attend to. Go get to know each other better like good brothers and sisters."
Bewildered Ranma and the unnamed girl were hustled out of the shop and the door closed behind them.
While they blinked in confusion at each other, the hairdresser smiled.
"I wonder when they'll discover their new selves," Medusa wondered in amusement. "I also wonder which will take to war and which to sorcery. I suppose that's obvious, though."
