Unfortunately, she found her way blocked by a scythe.
"I don't think so, Setsuna Meiou," the figure said.
Realising that getting away wouldn't be as easy as she'd hoped. It didn't seem that her unnamed stalker wouldn't leave her be, but she did have a few tricks up her sleeves.
"'Setsuna Meiou'?" she asked, "Who's that?"
No one would have said that they had to be good tricks.
"Please Miss Meiou," the figure told her, "You can not fool me like that."
"And how do you know that I'm Setsuna Meiou?"
"Because I know where every living thing is at all times."
"Really? Where's... Naru Osaka?"
The figure gave the impression of raising a brow. "In a cafe with Umino Gurio, saying how happy she is that they missed getting hit by the rain."
"Hmmm... What about... that cat I saw last week?"
"The one that nearly got hit by the car, or the one that was sunning itself in a window? Or perhaps you mean those two mooncats?"
"Lucky guess. You can't know where..."
"Everyone is? Like the fact that Doctor Mizuno is visiting a patient in the intensive care ward of the pediatrics wing, and is trying to reassure the boy that his pet hamster is fine and on it's wheel, which it is by the way."
"How do you know all this?" she demanded.
"Simple. I am Death."
"Is that just a name or..?"
"I am the incarnation of Death, or at least one of them."
"You haven't been summoned by some sort of evil force, have you?"
"If anyone summoned me here, it would be you."
"Me?"
"Yes. I have need to speak with you, and that made it neccessary to use this form."
"And what is it that you want to talk to me about?"
