Picking it up, he decided to go through the rest of the pile before getting to the one in question. Feeling intrigued, and curious, he opened the letter and found something he never thought possible. Inside was a letter with a medical bill and information for someone named Saotome Ranma, which was already paid for.
The reason the letter was sent to him was to confirm with him the use of plasma, he had donated earlier that year, being flown over and used for the boy. It seems that the doctor, Ono Tofu, wished to let him know, as per request of the doped up patient, the father of the young man's use. According to the letter, it was also discovered that the young teen shared a Y chromosome with him that did not with the boy's assumed father. He could only guess that it was a mix up and wished to let him know.
Unknown by either Hank, nor Tofu, said doctor had been visited by one Tendo Kasumi for a record hour, while this was written and mailed. So, now the mature McCoy came to realize that not only was he a father, but of a young man who seemed to get into a lot of fights. According the records, it seems his 'adoptive' father was also very abusive.
Reading down further, he also read the name of the mother, whom he did not recognize, but he did a name in the list of kin/friends to contact in case of an emergency for Saotome Ranma. On that list of three was the name Raven Darkholme, and now it ALL made sense.
Looking up in shock, Hank said, "No wonder I remembered sleeping with Raquel Welch back at that frat party. It wasn't a dream cause I was too stinking drunk, it was Mystique."
