???Ken: The parent who wasn't. [Episode 117925]

He had been devoured alive by invisible jaws, each bite flaying open his flesh. When they were done, not only did he not exist - the memory of him faded as his very existence faded. Pictures of Genma Saotome no longer showed his presence. His school records and presence on the family registry became blank pages.

Not only his body, his very essence, his existence - extinguished.

At first, Ranma had only vague memories of some hypothetical father. Soon that faded entirely away. He already had forgotten his mother after his father had dragged him off. Now it was even more problematic as he remembered neither parent.

To the two Mizuno family members, the amnesia and evident confusion on the boy's face was intriguing, but the really odd thing was:

• the physical changes as Genma's contribution to his DNA was being expunged.
• the changes in his physique as his DNA altered to that of some other parent.
• the way the boy seemed so frightened of the dark.
• something else
