Altered timeline: she'd succeeded. Mercury, Neptune, and Uranus had been quickly converted. Villuy then went after the others, converting the remainder of the Senshi and a few other rivals and opponents. Reprogramming the data was simple enough. Uranus would make a nice racing game, Mercury a database archival/retrieval program, Neptune a music player, and so on.
There had been something she hadn't known, couldn't have known, and when she converted Sailor Moon it began blowing up in her face. Saturn had awakened and was converted while fighting the persona of Mistress Nine, mainly because Villuy was not willing to take a support role when leadership was this close to her grasp.
There was a connection to both Mamoru Chiba and (through the timestorm and recent events) to Ranma Saotome. Ami used that connection to designate her operator/owner, then used the loyalty protocols against Villuy. She suborned nanobots and began reconstructing her body. Once this was done, she prepared the procedure for the others.
When everything was finished, Villuy had found out and constructed her OWN copies from backups. Copies entirely loyal to her. By that time it was too late for her to make multiple copies, so she went with powerful advanced versions.
Ami, however, had also made more. One set for Mamoru. One set for Ranma. Multiple sets otherwise occupied. Some improvements, alterations, and upgrades along the way. The Series Two versions could self-replicate as well (under certain circumstances), something no other set could do.
Villuy escaped the events that occurred later - she and her Dark Senshidroids were out there somewhere, gathering resources and preparing to take over the world! Or at least a small nation.
Mamoru Chiba found himself in possession of nine Senshibots who were absolutely and completely loyal to him. Ranma Saotome soon found himself in similar circumstances except:
