As Usagimeru closed his journal, a figure caught his eye. A black shadow hopped on to his bed. Twitching at first, he threw a pillow at it screaming with some tears, "Demon! Demon! Someone save me!"
The shadow gingerly jumped out of the way and landed next to Usagimeru. Now that it was in the light, he saw that it was a cat. A black cat. It had big red eyes. This is bad luck, right? Black cats are bad luck, right? That thought slipped from Usagimeru's due to the most unexpected thing he could have imagined.
"You know you shouldn't get scared so easily. Are you not a man?" the black cat commented.
Usagimeru is twitching again, this time out of definite fear. "Bad, Bad luck! Bad luck! Talking black cat is the worst of all look! It means I've gone insane!"
The cat sighed. "You haven't gone insane, Usagimeru."
"H-How do you know my name?" he asked, still obviously scared because there are tears streaming down his cheeks.
"I know all aobut you, Usagi-chan. My name is Luna and I'll be in charge of whipping you into shape," the cat said with a nod.
Usagimeru closed his eyes, shook his head, and peeked with one of his eyes. The cat was still there. Sighing in defeat, he asked, "Whipping me into shape for what?"
"You really don't know?" Luna asked and then strolled forward. "You are destined to be Sailor Moon--I do admit, however, that the fact that you're male did throw me for a bit."
He did a double take at the cat and asked, "Sailor Moon? You don't mean like...Sailor V, do you?"
Luna looked up for a moment, as if in thought, and then answered, "I guess it would be something like that, yes."
